This has convinced me to save my money. I've been making nut milks for decades and my Vitamix doesn't take five minutes to mix and I have to strain it the same as it seems you have to strain this one. If this actually strained the milk it might be a great product.
I bought the nutr because I wanted to avoid the effort sqeezing a nut bag, and I was impressed by a friend's almond cow machine (too expensive though). I am very disappointed. Oat milk and almond milk are both gritty. I even tried soaking the almonds and removing the outer skin before making, and it's still gritty. No comparison to the nut bag, unfortunately. Don't waste your money unless you don't mind it gritty. To clarify, I DO use the supplied strainer.
Agree, vitamix is a much more worthy piece of kitchen tool. I Checked all the websites and cannot find the manufacture place. Then it must be made in China !
I’m torn, I was excited for this. But it’s not as easy as one would think in my opinion. It definitely doesn’t taste like store bought. BUT I have to keep in mind this is homemade and probably better for you.
I have a Nutr and have been using it for the past two months. I like it for almond milk more than oat. My oat milk was slimy and it did not do well in a frother at all. I can't figured out how to fix the issue with oat milk. Anyone have suggestions? Other than that, I do love the machine. And yes, the milk is a little gritty, but a couple of strains and its pretty good.
There are videos on RU-vid about how to stop the sliminess. I haven’t tried it but you must not heat or soak the oats and the water should be very cold. Some people have put a small amount of coconut oil in it and maple syrup I watched a video as well where she used an amalayse enzyme capsule . Try Kathy Hester on you tube and downshiftology RU-vid channels. Some interesting tips
You can buy Amylase and soak the rolled oats for 20 minutes in it, give it a good rinse then make the oat milk. It breaks down the sugars and carbs helping make it less slimy. Nothing can be as good as Oatley as they have a special process that makes it so creamy.
It is very cute and little! But surprisingly gets the job done. I believe it recommends you only make two to three batches before giving it a break, like an hour to cool down or something along those lines. 🤷🏼♀️
Mine does not look like the one you have( the control panel) A bit disappointed in the performance. The lid is Not a strainer, must use strainer that is provided.
No problem so far :-) I’m still loving it! The only thing I would change is make it bigger. It would be really nice if you could get closer to 4 cups of “Milk” but it’s more like 2 cups.
Almonds need straining, Cashews, walnuts, macadamia not.I just use my Vitamix and strain with a nuitmilk bag, that I can squeeze out by had so very fast. Plus with a Vitamix I can make everything from blended soups, to ice cream, to pate, to hummus... and a Vitamix is about the same price.
I ordered a nutr machine when it was on pre-order and never received it. I reached out to the company on numerous occasions but got no reply. They do not provide a phone number so I had to rely on email and online message but still got no response. Eventually got my money refund and no explanation why it was not originally delivered as expected. I am disappointed as the reviews were good and I now have to start my search again.
Yes I am. I’m not going to lie, I’ll buy vegan milk from the store occasionally but after making it at home I’m never happy with store bought. I find they have a flavor that is unnatural and gosh have prices gone up! So long story short I am still happy to have this little guy. Thanks for the view and reaching out :)
@@katieeats941 Nutr company won’t take a return., the machine stop working on the second try. No I don’t care for any of those machines out there, I just use vitamin blender and drain it with cheese cloth, it’s way better and smoother.
I’m more of an oat milk gal myself I just hate the straining part and was hoping this little device would eliminate that. I found that it did as long as I use the cool setting 🤷♀️ Works exactly the same for nuts but not a bad idea to make another video.
You're wasting your money. This is a blender with a heating function. You're better off buying an actual blender that is more versatile and can hold more then heating up the contents separately.
Do not order Order # 29850 Hello, it’s been a week I’ve been requesting a return label please your system accidentally process my order twice. On your website behalf, there was an error you process my order twice I need a refund for one of the them. Please send me a Return shipping label.
Hello sweetheart sorry for your problem but I had the same problem so don't hold your breath as far as return labels all they do is send them via email and you'll have to print it out but do you have a printer or not it takes forever I finally got a return label my girlfriend printed it out for me I'll return the product FedEx confirmed it and this was in the beginning of January they received it and I still have not heard anything from them no refund no replacement no way to contact anybody reads my view view on top this is a garbage company I hope you get your money back because I still haven't gotten mine God bless
This product is a joke😳 a small personal blender you can do pretty much the same thing except the heating it ,and come on folks..putit in the microwave for a second ..their customer service sucks💩 let me re-emphasize their customer service sucks💩 never in my life have I run into such a crummy Customer Service Company😠 you can't talk to anybody ,except through texting and chat on their website. NOT a person TO BE FOUND‼️ forget about if you have a problem with your product and want to return it😠 that's a joke in itself 😥i the concept is A good concept I guess if you want to have something the size of a personal blender ,that you can heat up one cup of cocoa this ridiculous it's almost $200 🤐to make a cup of cocoa coffee or whatever‼️ and then they say oh it's self cleaning🤣 let me tell you something my dears you can get a blender from 1950 and put water in the drop of soap in it it'll clean itself to this is not a New Concept.😶 Save your money I went in for an almond cow ‼️yes it's a lot more money, customer service is awesome the product is grea👍👍👍 if you only want to make a cup , make a cup but if we want to make a family-sized amount of milk of choice you can do that as well .😁no it does not heat up your product , but come on people , if your only going to make one cup of warm milk or hot cocoa or cappuccino put it in the microwave for a minute, put it on the stove for a second.. I highly recommend the Almond cow👍👍👍 once again if you only want to make one cup you can, but if you want to make several days worth of milk you can and if you have a larger family its way worth the extra money ‼️and their customer service is hundred percent awesome 👍👍👍 unlike this company that their customer service virtually doesn't even exist it's just garbage 😡 you might not like what I said but it's the truth ‼️I bought my machine around Christmas time it came damaged I have returned it and here we are January 21st and I still have NOT received the refund... FedEx confirm that they got the machine back and someone signed for it‼️ but I still have not have any kind of correspondence with them to confirm that they got it and no refund no product no replacement nothing 😡😡😡good luck dealing with a second-hand company😡👎👎👎
