I never hand fed finches so I can not suggest

Hello, it is always recommended to start with thin consistency and then make it thicker but even It is written on packet to have 25/75 consistency. It will not harm but it is better to provide it with 25/75 consistency. If the chick get hungry then you can feed him again but if indigestion happen then that could go worse. All the best.

It is up to feeder, most important is maintaining the feed temperature. Hope you agree 😃

You can use any thermometer to check temperature if not check temperature on your skin and it should not burn and just warm enough. Hope this helps.

It is recommended to prepare fresh feed every time by these companies itself and reheating prepared formula is not good. It may develop crop related issue and can cause casualties with baby birds. Why to take chance and prepare fresh food each time.

Hey, both are good but take the one which has digestive enzymes. I think it’s A19 high energy which has it.

@@phdahdbirds thanks for reply. From last 2 days i am giving A19 to my alexandrine parrot , age is around 30+ days but i notice more clear water in his poop, other than that everything looks fine. Before this i was giving him soaked chana dal/split chickpea lentils that time their was less water in poop. Is this normal or should i switch back to chana dal.

@@virusred694 never give a19 to parakeet ....because it has 15% high fat ...which Alexandria parakeet doens't need ...go for a21 which has 6% fat ....high fat food for parakeet are not safe...my baby got ascites ( abdomen full with water disease ) due to a19 because it has high fat ... For Alexandria parrot only a21 is best

It should be of 1:5 consistency. 1 portion feeding formula and 5 portions water for 2 to 3 week baby.
