Home work answer : The organs of leafs of a tree have a large number of tiny pores called stomata on their surface. Each pore is surrounded by a pair of cells called guard cells. The opening and closing of pores in leaf is controlled by guard cells. The gas carbon dioxide is present in air enters the organs leaf through pores of stomata and utilised in food making process called photosynthesis.
