It is good but not the same as a real gas wok that has a higher heat. They only send it in one box now 4 years ago you had a nice colourful box and that box was boxed. I love it as a deep fryer. Season your wok before use wash well to remove all the processing oil and on a high heat with peanut oil or coconut oil that burns at high heat. Take about 32 seconds to boil water.
It kind of depends. A lot of residential gas stoves don't really have the BTU power to really drive a wok. The power is better than electric because of the 110 volts in the US...but it is still not that great. The best thing is to cook outdoors on a high-output burner like a turkey fryer. When I burned off the wok with this induction burner, I got it up to 750 degrees so it wasn't too bad.
I appreciate the showing of a product but if you had cooked something it would have shown the product more efficiently . I wouldn't buy one from an unboxing video . Thanks
