Why am i watching an infomercial on youtube.

Over the last 30 years I have bought that many gadgets and most of them disappoint. I bought one of these and for the first time ever a gadget that has been under sold. This would be the best thing I have ever bought. Frozen steak cooked in around 20 minutes. My sister has since bought one and swears by it.

Amazing how the 'Infrared' does not show up when cooking and viewed on an infrared camera. It's just a heating element with convection fan!

We got it yesterday. Put a frozen steak in it for 40 minutes (20 minutes on each side). It came out well done and very tender. Tasted like it just came off the grill. We were all surprised and very happy with the product.

I seem to remember Heidi Bohay as a celebrity contestant on various game shows in the Early to mid '70's. She was always presented as an "actress" but where and in what was (carefully) never revealed. Anyone else remember her?

@eddiefromnyc I just bought the Nuwave oven and own the Ronco rotisserie. Your are right; The Nuwave oven requires you to flip over the chicken while the Ronco does not. Duh? An extra step that Ronco doesn't require. Both units did its job to perfection. But kudos to Nuwave oven for multi tasking.

This thing rocks my socks. I walk four miles a day, have a very active life-style and still managed to gain weight. For realsies, this thing has been great for me and my family. Plus, it's FDA approved, bitches!

If the steak is frozen, how then will you/i /anyone, be able to add the seasoning? You cant add salt and pepper to a frozen steak. Do you cook it for a while then after it softens, you add the seasoning...ah...ah?

I don't really care whether or not the NuWave oven works well or not. I do care that they constantly bash "conventional ovens" though.

It's just a convection oven. You can buy all sorts of brands of convection ovens, and they all pretty much do the same thing -- move hot air around. And if you don't think such a thing can make frozen food taste fresh, think again. Meat on a frozen pizza tastes fresh. A frozen steak is so juicy you have to drain some of the juice away. Anyone who has had a convection oven knows how awesome they are. Don't know about this one or its price, but you can get small ones at stores for like $35.

But how do I get the steak medium rare? Can't ruin a expensive ribeye by making it well done

I cooked my chicken in my conventional oven in 30 minutes and it came out amazing. Anecdotal evidence, I know, but it's youtube comments, what do you want from me? =P

We all know that no one can get perfectly brown looking bird like displayed on the commercial. It's simply a industry dyeing trick. You think the commercial will waste an hour watching the bird cook? I own a Nuwave oven and it doesn't look the way it looks. But it does its job and taste great! Buy one, you won't be had!

@ethereal angel 712 i know right? i love how they make cooking and cooking with a little oil such a crime or impossible thing. yes cooking can be a bitch sometimes if you don't feel like it and too much oil is bad but they basically want you took cook frozen meet with no flavor under a damn light?!? i would imagine everything that comes out of this taste like bland ass and i would be afraid to eat chicken or turkey out of it

I got mine today! I just made two pork chops in 10 minutes flat. Quite good! I'm doing frozen chicken wings later tonite and a full chicken tomorrow. One thing the infomercial completely, and systematically avoids mentioning is that you have to TURN the food over halfway through the cooking process. Frozen pizza you start cooking UPSIDE DOWN and turn half way through the process with their "pizza flipper." Chickens, turkey, chops, steaks, etc. you have to turn over halfway through.

Notice how none of them say that the NuWave has helped them lose a lot of weight. All of them say that the NuWave oven helped them keep it off, and one said the the NuWave oven will help them lose a measly five pounds to get to her goal. It's not false advertising, but it is deceptive.
