i ordered a Le Presse in the early 2000’s. it didn’t work as easily as Cathy makes it look. also it was a nightmare to clean cause food always stuck in the blades. i called to return it. the lady i spoke to wanted to know why i wanted to return it. i told her, “I love watching Cathy Mitchell but she doesn’t know what she’s talking about this time. It should be called “Le Sh*t.” the lady busted out laughing.
i wonder if her kids really liked everything or was it that if Cathy couldn’t cook anything unless it came from an appliance she was hawking at the time then they didn’t eat that day. seriously, i always liked watching Cathy Mitchell informercials. she’s such a hoot.
Love these old infomercial. They make cutting fruit and vegetables look so easy but everything is already trimmed and peeled. It’s so much quicker to do with a chefs knife.
I am only a bit over five minutes into it, and nothing has been pre-peeled. They were cutting up fruits with the skin on them. And the boiled potato had its skin on it, yet the machine de-skinned it.
actually, my Mexican friend does this. I was initially outraged because I thought it was a white person thing but it’s actually so good and she said it’s a common thing. she added chicken bouillon powder too!
@@thunderibiscuitz7893 I’m white and would never do such a ridiculous thing as add mayo in guacamole! Good grief. Stop the nonsense. Mine only has the adds of diced onion, roma tomatoes (the thick skin only), cilantro, and salt to the avocado!
If you can't press down on a soft-cooked potato with a potato masher, you have bigger problems than cooking. This LePresse will make your kitchen look like a laboratory.
She gave the wrong definition of 'ricing', smh. It's when you buy an old Toyota and do it up so that you can drift on mountain roads while doing your tofu delivery rounds.
I just do not want everything quartered, and I do not have the time. Quicker with knife, any cut you want. I just can't get involved with the additional work it creates
This gadget makes no sense. If you have to cut things small to fit in the machine, why not just finish cutting it? I wonder if there was anyone stupid enough to buy it
