I also have both. short. crazy studd is on line6, normal stuff is on nux. Meaning: overdrive, boost, distortion nux is better, delays, reverb everything else on the amps- loop: m9

you just save the current set of IRs by hitting "export". Then if something is not to your liking you can always import them back.

I'm considering this unit as well for replacing an amp rig live and have been asking myself the same question. I believe a pretty low gain setting on the overdrive section should do pretty well. That's me anyways since I don't like completely clean cleans, if that makes sense lol.

If I recall correctly; guitar > Cerberus > analog outs > PreSonus Quantum (soundcard) > Logic Pro X. Cerberus USB for the interface GUI. Monitors: Blue Sky Media Desk 2.1.

@@BrettKingman when you say analog outs you mean from the Nux “output 2”, in the audio interface, correct? As far as I’ve understood the output 2 is the only one that can enable the CAB simulation and the IR loader. So the Nux is also connected to the computer via usb, right?

@@salvatorevitale9165 in the video his pedal is connected via USB in order to control it. if he wouldn't connect it via USB you wouldn't be able to use the Cerberus Editor software so that's pretty clear. Just to make it a bit clearer: he does not use the USB connection for audio (that is not possible)

Maybe you got your answer but in manual mode the "control" footswitch (bottom right) can be set via the control button (next to the display) to "mod" or "rev" so it'll turn on or off the reverb or the current mod effect that is selected on the right side of the chorus. So if like me with reverb always on, I can have the same as a delay, chorus and a tremolo pedal on my board at once. You can only have 1 "mod" effect active though, if you want another you have to manually change it OR use in patch mode.

yep when you're on a preset you can just hit the button assigned to that preset again to enter edit mode. then you can change everything individually as if it's seperate pedals

It only comes with cab IRs, but you can load any IRs you want, including amp IR. Apart from that, it's purely FX, not digital modelling.

@@jonelordieta7573 thank you for the answer, so it's purely FX means it's not meant to be used with PA system but with guitar amps?

@@MrFree-vj8qj If you use the software, you can load your own IRs, including amp IRs, and go direct to the desk. I don't do it myself, but check out Pete Thorn's video, where he records direct with IRs, and no amplifier.
