Hey man. How are the quality of effects with expression pedal? Can you modulate parameters with expression pedal? For example speed of rotary speaker sim being changed by using the expression pedal? And how is the quality of the expression pedal in general?
@@adityabali1939 you can assign it to modulate speed of phaser, I guess the same for rotary flanger etc The pedal is fine, of course there are better out there but as you know a good expression pedal can cost alone 200€
Thanks for the detailed video. I was wondering if it would be possible to assign NMP-2 with A and B to bank up and down and the footswitches on the pedal from left to right assigned to change patches, ie, 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D (double press control switch). So when I press B, then 2A, 2B, 2C, and 2D are available, and so on. This would be much better for a live situation.
hi, nice playing and tone quality. Is there any Pitch shifting effect? Like when you playing a solo you can shift a note to high pitch by using effects only?
Thanks 😊 Mhhhh actually i don’t know, I didn’t try all the effects cause they were too many. Maybe on the website you can find all the effects featured!
Thank you! :) I used the integrated ones because I wanted to show how it sounds out of the box. But as far as IRs I use York Audio and Ownhammer ones and they're great!
@@sergioserramusic Thank you so much. Oh wow York has a lot of cool packs. Any you recommend? Marshall 412 MV30, M20, M25, 5153 412 VH20, or the Mesa ones? The sound you get at 11:59 is amazing!!! I like that kind of tone. More warm, buttery, chewy. Been searching for that sound.
This is a monster Unit in this price range..But the biggest limitation is it has only 2 Footswitch( banks) to the change the presets or memory..Its not a great idea to have this in live situation..
@@metallica3604 Yes bhai but as i mentioned earlier that those footswitch will help u to change modulation like reverb/delay etc..You cannot change the preset/memory...
I haven’t used it live, but I have a friend that uses it regularly (also uses the Ampero Stomp) and he really likes it! It’s pretty intuitive and that helps!
Its not ideal for live shows because it has 2 banks for memory change..So to avoid tap dancing in a live situation this is not a great idea..Otherwise this unit is a monster..
Sergio, Nice review and Playing. I have a question for you. On that great recording, what did you use to lay down your drum track(s)? Did you have a drummer or some software? Also, what DAW do you use? Finally, is your process to lay down all of your drums for the whole song first, then begin laying down all of the guitar and bass tracks on top of that? I'm just curious because I can seem to get started because I haven't figured out how to get the drums down for all of the changes on my songs. Anyway great review. I have a garage full of great vintage amps but sometimes you want a simple plug and play digital solution to experiment with effects and block order etc. Keep it up!
Thank you! :) I use Logic Pro, the drums are usually programmed by me and the drums usually comes after I record the guitar idea; i then write the drums and re record everything!
