@@madiimad the pedal is great but the desktop editor sucks !! It never connects with the unit - changed the cables etc . Reinstalled it 4 times , checked the driver ! Still have connection issues

@@madiimad solo he visto las comparaciones en RU-vid, la verdad no conozco a nadie con otras marcas de gama similar, la cosa es que está pedalera tiene mejores conversores de audio que su competencia en el mismo rango de precio incluso mejor que otras de mayor valor, si es cierto que trae menos efectos y amplificadores pero los que trae están muy bien hechos!

Hi. Glad to help. The MG300 patches will not load into the MG-30. There are a lot of MG-30 patches out there though. Be sure to join the MG-30 FB Group.

@@ThePedalGuy Thank you. I think, this might be an issue for MG300 users who think about upgrading to MG30. Could be a lot of work to transfer own presets by copying settings manually and though prevent users from upgrading. NUX should think about this. If presets would be stored in a common standard format like XML or JSON, maybe someone would spend some time to develop a free converter app. Could be benefitial for users and NUX as well.

They changed the digits 5 for the román V. So it still reads five 1 five 0.

Its actually five one five zero in roman numerals.

I think the same for roman numerals. V=5, I=1, V=5, O=0. The only flaw in this thesis is, that the romans hat no zero.

@@ThePedalGuy Too bad you cannot use the NMP-2 and the external expression pedal both at the same time. Like for instance connecting the TRS cable of the external footswitch into the A slot of the NMP-2 footswitch. I thought it was cool to expend it with an extra pedal but unfortunately it is one or the other. Thanks anyway! Cheers from The Netherlands

To avoid problems/errors on V3 (WIN/MAC) STEPS 1. Export Patches to PC 2. Factory Reset MG30 3. Uninstall Asio Driver on PC 4.Restart PC 5. Update MG30 using the updater to V3 6.Reboot MG30 and wait for data transfer 7. Factory Reset MG30 v3 8. Import Patches 9.Install Nux Asio Driver 10.Restart Mg30 and PC 10.1 Use the new downloaded QUICKTONE (delete old one) 11.Enjoy!

Nope. Just load in the newest FW and you're good to go.

Just jump to the latest. You don’t need to do them chronologically

Ghost backup was removed in this latest fw update.

Now I could see on the vídeo that there was a volume block icon on the mg30 screen. So Yes, it is possible.

Sorry you hear this. I don’t really agree with that assessment. I find that many of the presets sound just fine. I would suggest looking at the global eq and also make sure that you are using the correct output mode.

If you have a efx, cmp, or mod slot free, you can use ist for a booster and increase the volume by switching it on in that scene.

@@andregoring7718 Thanks, which booster would you recommend me to increase the volume without altering the original sound too much and in which position of the chain to put it. I have tried with the katana but it tends to dirty the sound a bit. I'm talking about a lead hi gain sound. The tubescreamer on the other hand, even with the level at maximum, does not raise the volume, it only inflates the sound without any volumetric increase.

@@ThePedalGuy Nope I did not do that, didn’t know that. Didn’t installed the latest QuickTone driver either before the update. Yes that could be the problem, that makes sense. Do you think getting the latest ASIO driver and QuickTone, and re-updating the device would solve my problem??? Because I guess the problem is on the device at this point :(

@@egeozdemir5094 try what I’m suggesting first. Worst case scenario is that you will need to temporarily revert to the older firmware version.

@@ThePedalGuy Actually, googling about it. In the FB group people report of the similar problem. Now that I got the NUX website and refresh the support page, the old version has come up and it says: "V3 is coming! Please export allpatch (NOT GHOST) to back up your presets in advance." Trying to update the firmware back to old version.

Sorry you experienced some issues here. What I don’t quite understand here is that you couldn’t back up your patches with the previous version of the firmware prior to updating? That doesn’t make sense. Trying to understand what the legit issue is here as you should absolutely see the new amp and fx if you did the v3 update. I’ve updated 5-10 of these prior to shipping and not a single one has had an issue. So 🤷‍♂️

@@ThePedalGuy the MG 30 would not connect to the Quicktone editor at all. In the end I gave up & just updated the firmware. Only then could I get the MG 30 to connect....& by that time I'd lost everything but also gained nothing with the update. I had a similar issue with the NUX Cerberus.

@@ThePedalGuy I've now updated the MG 30 three times. I'm still not seeing the changes you've mentioned at all.

I'm convinced something else is going wrong here. I have updated my unit a few times to check and there have been no problems.

There's a small trial n error curve. But it all works. I can help. I had to climb the same mountains. 1. Down load the editor and install it. 2. Next Download "update firmware" 3. Now connect you're mg30 first... Before attempting to install. 4. Once it sb connection is seen.. The edit software will open up automatcally. 5. Click the arrow out button at the top. This saved your orders out to your computer.... Later you will load them the same way with the "in arrow'" button. Now you are ready to update the firmware. 6. Power off unit. Hold down the left two foot switches while powering on. It's very quick. You are now in firmware mode. Don't touch anything. Just execute the update file in your computer that you downloaded and extracted to a safe familiar location. Go to that location and click the file. 7. Now click English 8. Now click update and choose the other "bin" file in your safe familiar folder you extracted everything to. Then click the update button. Now wait 30min like it's 1985 waiting for a cassette modem to load "temples of Apshai" into your Atari 800 computer. Only when these 30 min are up you'll be a lot more satisfied. ;) Now power done after the update says complete. Now power on. Now got to factory reset and do a factory reset. 3min. Now reboot and your good to go. This is exactly how you upgrade firmware... All the bells and whistles will be there.... Trust me. I'm just now forgiving outv the parallel routing stuff. Don't ask. Alot more button pressing.

The MG-300 can't use this update, but as far as I know, NUX is still releasing occasional updates for the 300.

Nope. NuX is still updating the MG300 though so I’m sure there will be more to come.
