You know you did not have to use channel locks to open that right? All you had to do was twist the lens at full lock loosening it and then keep on going to brakes loose… 😂
@@KyzoFox on the 30 that collar is threaded on to the factory lens. and even without the 3 micro screws holding it on…it is TOUGH to unscrew..but in all cases, you still just use wrench to unscrew the module to install my new lens and lens adapters. then screw back into the nvg body.
@@tylerthrash3155 i’m on ebay. search nvg-10 wide fov. for nvg-10 and 30. The flip cap for the 30 isn’t finished yet. The sideways adapter that gives you 72° vertical is finished and fits the 10 and the 30. you can text or signal me at 662-418-4094
@@OzzieOz74 eventually i will, but it’s the same FOV as my nvg-10 video. it’s more sensitive to low light as the 10 and higher resolution video, BUT neither performance increase will transmit to a video much better than the nvg-10 video i have made
I purchase 2 nvg30 and i finded that the front eye piece is a pain to align ont the field and when running its much worst. Is there a solution to change spherical or aspherical glass lens inside . ???? When you off center - it automatic blurry - it a verry big probleme for shooting and navigation. can we install - sionyx or real pvs14 lens on the front ? Does your front lens will help with my probleme. ? Thank you
@@kevenpiquette911 the eye box on the 10 and 30 is small. 10 times harder to align to eye when using a dual tube bino. i try to talk people out of binos with the 10/30’s but it’s impossible. one tube with wide fov is usually a better solution.
@@starsandnightvision you probably won’t see the stars! it’s not a light amplification device. when wide FOV is installed, sensitivity also is reduced. seeing 5x more view needs 5x more iR…or range is reduced 5x. it’s turns the 30 from a good medium scope that can see pretty far, to an amazingly good short range scope that can see medium with a focused iR.
