I seriously hope you're hired somewhere fixing / installing stuff by now because this video ALONE would be worth at least $60 .. struggles in time spent and me opening and closing back my PC trying to figure out what happened. Ugh. THANK YOU so much.
OH my goshh. THANK YOU. This was a God send! The freaking packaging instructions didn't even tell me to take off the black covers. That was my first issue. haha. oi.
i purchased the Msi Gtx 1050 ti 4gb low Profile about 3 months after release ( $123.- w/rebate ) = great gpu & OverClocked Very good " No Voltage " when the Msi Gtx 1650 Oc low Profile released i grabbed it For $150.- Ny Over priced but did the job and didn't OverClock as well Compared to the 1050 ti but when you have a sff Pc : you just need the best graphics card with No 6 pin power connection for 1080p !! imagine if the Super was released with No 6 pin connection = would have been awesome. That's what these Gpu's were made for !!!!!!! Thank you for Posting
Thank you so much for making this video! I have been so lost trying for find a graphics card for the pc i have which is exactly the one you used in this vod. I am so happy!
I would recommend the Dell Optiplex 7010 off of Amazon Core i5 16GB RAM 2TB(!!!) HDD I would also recommend buying this graphics card with it because the integrated graphics are really bad.
Needed to make sure it doesn’t need a pcie power cable before I buy because my power supply doesn’t have one. Now I know it will work for my computer, thanks. Hopefully Davinci Resolve 10 or 11 works with this video card I’m hoping so
Hello thanks for the previous answer but this is the definitive one, I have a monitor that only has an input for vga cable that is obviously already in use, my question is if I buy a vga splitter cable, can I use it as input for the graphics card? Your video is very good because you are the only one who did a step that happened and well explained, Or can I disconnect the previous one that is connected to the small blue box inside the pc and connect the vga cable to the 1650?
@@GeoffreyJamesKing I am using it so that the monitor is connected to the cpu, do I have to buy an hdmi to vga? I'm talking about a converter to connect the graphics card to my monitor?
my processor is i5 2400s 2.5ghz but i don't know is support. MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 low profile oc edition graphic card and model is dell optiplex 390.
Thanks for the tutorial I have a hp compaq 8300 elite so this graphics card is the best thing you can get for sff pc’s although the price in my country New Zealand is outrageous but ahh what ever 😂
Nice man im planning to buy this card from amazon, could you do a fps benchmark test any game with this card pls. I'd love to see how it performs on fortnite, could we reach 140-150 fps or no :'(
hey I recently bought this exact graphics card and I'm concerned this 75 watt card might be drawing too much power from my 240 watt power supply do you recommend this graphics card for this PC? I'm using an HP 8300 elite SFF PC btw.
Im surprised my GPU isn't dead when I got my dad to remove the nuts to put the low profile bracket on he fully gripped the motherboard while doing it for me 😂😂😂😂😂
Yes it will work on that desktop. My psu is I think 160 watt but I’m not sure I will have to check. But I have research that model of desktop you have and this gpu is compatible
4:18 Do we HAVE to connect the cable? Because I don't have any of those cables so I'm a little bit worried that when I get my GTX 1650 LP i won't have one..
How loud is this card? I have a zotac version of this card and I'm returning it because the fans are really loud and it idles at 40 percent fan speed even when not gaming since zotac programmed it to do it. Thinking of getting the msi version. Any thoughts? I can't seem to find videos of the fan in action.
I’m not getting any. I have an Intel i5 3rd gen with 16 gb ram. With duel channel ran setup and 16x pci-e makes the lanes pretty wide open. But obviously a new i7 would help.
I have a quick question. I have an 800 G1 SFF computer. And am thinking about installing the GTX 1650 LP as shown in the video. But most people installing it in the computer are using the "Gigabyte" version of the card, whilst you are using the "MSI" version. I'm pretty uncultured in computers and was wondering if it mattered which card I install. All i can find is the MSI version so I wanted to hear from you first if you know. Thanks.
its perfectly fine to touch the 'circuit board' btw its a PCB. even if you have static energy its fine as new GPU's are anti static. Also, please learn more about PCS. You did so much wrong here.
Geoffrey James Geoffrey James no worries you responded rather quickly actually, and you’ve answered 3 of my questions. Thanks for all the info, as I am planning to build a pc like this but with a 8300 for school, you are an amazing creator, extremely helpful and earned a sub and like. God bless you!
@@GeoffreyJamesKing I am saying without overclocking, just with display adapter settings and Nvidia control panel settings. I can only see 60Hz in these settings. Any help in this?
Swarnesh Dhavane try going to display settings or nvidia settings and see if your control panel can go up. if it is already 144HZ settings then try unlocking the fps on your game or setting a different fps max/cap if possible
hi Geoffrey I have very old hp small form factor 8000 with core 2 duo, e8400 3ghz. it has radeon amd hd6350 low profile card 512mb. i just watch movies dont play games. i have led monitor. should i bother to upgrade GPU to get optimum quality picture. if yes please suggest cheap secondhand low profile card which wont be bottlenecked by cpu. thanks in advance
I installed this card today. Works fine but fans are too noisy. HWinfo shows they are spinning @ 30% even if PC is idle. Custom fan profile in Afterburner doesn't help neither, I set the profile 0%, but fans are still @ 30% while GPU is just below 35C. Do anyone know how to stop fan spinning below 40..45C GPU temp? Are the other 1650 LP cards (ASUS, ZOTAC, GIGABYTE) this noisy as well? I need a silent card. Previously I had a GIGABYTE 1050 TI LP, that was silent when PC is idle. But fan started to wear out and became noisy when spinning, so I needed to swap the card.
@@GeoffreyJamesKing No, I don't need huge gaming performance. I want silent operation in a small Silverstone ITX case and want to drive 2x 4k display @60hz. 95% of the time I don't need GPU just basic display functions. I have the GPU in order not to load the CPU and mobo memory with display functions. I run 9900K and found it suffering from the 2x display. 1050 TI did it well for me for 2 yrs, so I thought 1650 should work as well in 2020 for the same price. It surprised me that they don't shut down the fans @ low temps. All GPU card I encountered recently do that.
@@GeoffreyJamesKing No, the installation was correct, nothing in the way. The problem with this card is that the idle power dissipation is about 8W indicated by HwInfo. Too much to dissipate in such a low formfactor without fans. And they use mediocore, loud fans. Finally I got a new GIGABYE 1050Ti and replaced 1650. It is dead silent again even if the single fan is spinning at 2200 rpm when idle. Unfortunately 1050ti doesn't report power data to HwInfo to compare the cards. When time permit I will try to mod the 1650 and old 1050Ti with Noctua fans for new silent builds. I have an eye on a 3950X or next gen Ryzen build in the same Silverstone box. My goal is to push CPU performance in a silent SFF box.
Personally I hate HP. Support is garbage. Especially when installing max ram and it only reads half even when you hit the F1 to teach the bios to recognize everything.
Any one else having trouble changing the bracket? The screw that's in there wont even budge and I cant put a lot of tension on it because all the tension goes on to the chip itself
that is strange im not sure how to help. here is a video on how to change the bracket. Also sorry if i didn't show it well. :D ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6rK7rBo55dQ.html
what type of monitor do I need for this machine: Hp 8300 sff I7 3770 Gtx 1650. Also do I need to install the final drivers in the final part of the vid? (Not including the first driver)
Mine is different, I had to use integrated graphics for a display, plugged my HDMI to my GPU and plugged my VGA cable to my motherboard. I know this looks bad but it's the only way to get an Output from my TV, reason why the "only way" is because I got a no signal problem with my GPU, now it has an output, soooooo yaaaaa. PC: Lenovo M91p TOWER
Hey dude My monitor only support VGA and I’m thinking on buying this Can I use my motherboard port to the monitor or do I have to buy a new monitor and use hdmi
Hey, i have also a GTX1650 i tried to install it but i can’t get in the bios, my screen is just black it shows my processor i7 2600 and i can’t press anything.. what can i do?
What PSU need for this GPU...In lenovo 510s sff pc only 180 PSU...I don't no the power output to gpu. Now i currently use zotac gt 730 low profile ....I have doubt about only on power supply ... Wheather gtx 1650 msi run on lenovo 510s
i'm just using a standard 240 watt psu for my setup, but your 180 psu will be able to run it. When you look up online the best psu for that graphics card they will say that 300w psu is the best but there taking into account that all of the graphics card slots are full. so as long as you are only using that one graphics card you should be fine :D
Hey. I have same card and i want to connect second monitor through vga cable (with dvi 24+1 pin adapter). No succes. Second monitor is fujitsu siemens l20w2. Thx in advance for any help.
