What about using the Ring cam with Nvidia Shield? How can you quickly display your cams on your TV screen, like you can do with both the Fire Cube and Alexa??
if you prefer fire os and the shields upscaling and have a sony bravia the reality creation setting upscaling feature is on par with sheilds upscaling i was extermely impressed but the dilema i guess is how much should you upscale?
I just want to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New years and may you keep putting a great content like you have in the past for the new year coming thank you for all you've done and all the teaching you give us thank you Merry Christmas and a Happy New years
Great video chief.... question....the Fire tv cube Ethernet only goes to 100 mega, what about if ur in wifi and have for example 400 mega service....can the cube receive and put out the 400 mega or is it limited to 100 megs in WiFi as well?
Hello, good afternoon... I have a question. For 4K games without HDR, is it better to choose the yuv 444 8-bit color space or the yuv 420 10-bit color space? Thank you very much
The shield keeps freezing. Constantly must restart or Sound bar wont work and when you look for something it never looks on the apps like the firestick does. Keep the firestick for the love of baby joda
well id take half of the performance of the firesticks for 5x less the cost and id take the shield with android 11 exp 9 and throw it in the garbage. worst update in the history of tech.
I would make the switch from my current Apple TVs to the Nvidia Shield Pros if Nvidia could stream the Spectrum TV app in the correct format. I've been told that even if the Spectrum TV app is side loaded, it does not show up full screen but loads similar to what one would see on a phone.
Side loading is just as easy actually the same I have both I just use downloader on both, and I never had overheating issues and the shield is definitely faster at scrolling at least for me and most people
@@americanbullies1247 Agree 100%. Still don't understand a supposed premium device in 2023 like like the Cube 3rd gen still using port standards from 2010.
I almost bought the Shield, but so many reviews, in many outlets about the darn things bricking on their owners. One or two, ok, but dozens and dozens, nope, not going there.
I`ve had a shield over 4 years now. Still runs great , no issues, regular updates. I`ve had Minix, it stopped getting updates, Firesticks, pretty good. But not in the same class as the shield. In my opinion, you won`t find a better streaming device. I know friends who also own shields and love them. Never heard of the bricking problem. I would definately buy another, but since mine is still going strong since 2018, I have no reason to replace it.
between Fire Cube and Nvidia Shield, I always choose Cube. because Cube DOES NOT HAVE AN EXTRA SPINING HARDWARE - Cube DOES NOT HAVE A FAN !!! and the Cube never gets hot. and the image quality and the Shield are NOT better than the Cube !!! .
@@rickdurro1091 Yeah not sure what that person is talking about. Never had that happen to any of my Shields and never heard it happen to anyone else's. I never even notice the fan on my Shield. The Cube is not a viable option due to the fact that it uses obsolete networking and USB standards.
Shield Pro is a laggy piece of junk. It is literally only worth it as a Plex client, and only then if you require passthrough of uncompressed audio formats. Honestly, for most people I would go Roku or Apple TV.
You must have a defective Shield TV Pro. Don't have any lagging with mine. Definitely a lot faster than my Roku Ultra , Fire TV Cube and Chromecast with Google TV 4k.
@@Mr01dschool since this post I downgraded to a lower firmware version 8.2.3 and it's a lot better now.. but it was a lot of hassle to do so. I still wouldn't recommend it over those other devices.
