the moves are honestly so... hit or miss and they lean on miss, honestly why bother with the NWA at this point man, i've tried for too long, they be on some Vince shit yo, i was hoping they could be like an American AJPW in the 21st century but NAH, instead of Kings Road we get the Kings Lynn Cloverleaf from TNA, who wasn't over then, and is their BEST WRESTLER, and yet, he's better by a mile comp to the talent they have. i've seen better shit at GCW and on road shows and mud events
terribly at that. i mean, Knox is good, Tyrus needs to be arrested for stealing money tho, he CLAIMS he's an NWA Wrestler but that's some Undertaker shit i'm seeing from him
A few of these moves were cool, but most of them were basic. That said, I am glad to see The Piledriver being used as a finisher by a few of them. People kick our of that move too often these days.
Yeah the NWA mostly prides itself on "Old School Style" so a bunch of their moves are more simple basic moves rather than the "Modern Style" of wrestling
a few people still keep it as a finish, Okada, Suzuki, Janela, Penta, Steen, Kris Statlander, it's just not as common as it was back then, styles change, more moves have been added to the lexicon, it hurts, but i'm just satisfied i can see a piledriver not being done by just the Undertaker, since he was the only guy doing it in the Fed for a bit
It was clean. Also, I think it's much safer because she can see her target before her legs come over. Other moonsaults (ahem, Lita's) just blindly throw the legs over.
I don’t give a damn about anything but those finishers from Kratos and jtg, that wheelbarrow deadlift suplex and jtg on the Brooklyn edge is absolutely flawless
Best finishers in the video Colby coring - Sun setter 0:58 Fred Rosser (Darren young) - Gut-check 2:35 JTG - Brooklyn’s edge 4:32 Judias - el crucifejeo 4:44
@@AAAHH If there is a back flip piledriver, then I've never seen it. I'd imagine it executed the same as a canadian destroyer(you front flip while the opponent back-flips) but in reverse (this time, you're the one who back flips while you're opponent front flips). Problem is, I don't see anyone executing that move unless it's from the top ropes and even then it's super dangerous. A backflip piledriver would mean carrying not only you're weight but also the weight of your opponent to do a backflip into a pildriver. The canadian destroyer is simpler to do in this context since there looks to be an easier way to shift the momentum and transfer the load in executing the move. You spring up to do a front flip while in mid execution, your opponent can take the load and use that momentum to backflip, I can't see it happening the ktger way around though.
Just because a finisher isn't complicated doesn't mean it's not entertaining. There's some great finishers here you don't see often anymore, the heart punch, piledriver, cloverleaf etc.
I don't think I have ever seen a worst full nelson slam in my life than the one Chris Adonis tried to do. It's kinda like the guy still hasn't learn to wrestle in 20 years in the business.
@@KobashifanSam yeah that guy mistimed the spot and jumped late, I've seen Adonis hit the FNS and usually he gets some height on it when the opponent cooperates
The male commentator[s] sounds like they are trying to sound energetic and excited. The female color commentator on the other hand sounds like she's bored and not invested in what's going on in these matches.
JTG-Brooklyn's Edge, that is not a bad move. La Rebelillion with a sick tag team finisher. Mark of the beast, hella dope. Nick Aldis, that is a dope submission. King's Lynn Cloverleaf.
am not a wrestler so am not trying to crap over any of these guys, god knows their job is not easy. but any wrestling fan can see how seriously awful is the execution of most of these finishers
@@LordJuzzie the flair part doesnt have to be a flip or something athletic. Its more akin to their character. Like Maryse doing a hair flip, Mickie with her jumping stalling ddt, etc. Most of these moves just feel there. Just needs personality
I don't mind the old school feel of the product but it seem that the arena is nearly empty. It seems to be produced on a shoe string budget and that kind of ruins the history of the NWA. I'm not sure if that's what they are going for but they will probably turn more people away than anything
Some truly janky ass moves going on here. Sun Setter where he takes the bump himself. Hawx Arie where they seem to just fall over each other while carrying an opponent. Kamille's "spear" is better described as a running cuddle. Also Code Red is not a canadian destroyer in any way shape or form. Harley Race is turning in his grave watching some of this nonsense.
