@@nnaemekadaniel9578 2026 world cup qualifiers are still on. We have played two matches which ended in 1-all draws with both Lesotho and Zimbabwe. Next up is South Africa and Benin Republic later in June. Then will follow the fixture with Rwanda and the return fixture with Zimbabwe in March 2025. In September 2025, there will be return fixtures with Rwanda and South Africa. October 2025 brings with it the return legs against Lesotho and Benin Republic to complete the first round of the qualifiers. Group winners in all 9 groups qualify directly while the 4 best runners-up will participate in two one-off semi-finals and a final. The winner will then participate in the FIFA Play-off tournament. We are currently joint third in our group with South Africa in 2nd place and Rwanda topping the group after 2 matches. We have to win all our remaining matches and also hope that some results will go our way. Otherwise, if we end up being 2nd, we will have to go through the play-offs described earlier, and that's only if we are among the 4 best seconds in the 9 groups.
Great Goalkeeping, From A Great Goalkeeper.... We Are So Glad To Have You As Our Starting Goalkeeper Kelechi Nwabali, We Love And Appreciate You For Your Heroics At The Just Concluded Africa Cup Of Nations... Keep Soaring To Greater Heights Eagle 🦅🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬💚💚💚
Of course! He also appeared to have jelled with the defence line in a short time. With him at the back talking to the defence line, and Osimhen at the front encouraging others, I think we have some level of leadership in the team as it stands.
Ride on Nwabali! I've been calling for your invitation to the national team but the clueless Nigerian technical crew doesn't have eyes for a good goalkeeper. I will keep using all platforms to push for your invitation.
Thanks God they later see him face to keep for Nigeria, uzoho should try to step aside small small small now the ogedengbe, peter rufai ,okala, enyama, even carl ikeme in those days is back in the colour of stanley nwabali.
I started looking up clips of his performances after his remarkable outing so far at the Afcon 23. This video is 2months old, there are older ones on chippa united. How come despite the goalkeeping issues we;ve had, Stanley Nwabali hasn't bn called up all along? He is still a bit raw, but looks effective in his command of the area. Stanley should have bn called up long before now.
Everything about Nigeria is politics, how can they have such a good goalkeeper all these while & decide to be playing Uzoho. What a corrupt country called Nigeria.
At least he can save a direct short unlike Uzoho that can not save a single short every match, instead of saving a short, he will rather punch it into his net...... Nwabali or Adeleye should be our number 1...while Olorunleke Ojo should be the Third choice.... Uzoho should be sent far away from the eagles squad.......
Has good confidence and anticipation and organizes his defence well. But my fear is that he seems to spills shot frequently. Could be easily punished by opponents following up at close quarter
@biyakutawa- don’t get carried away ! And compare onana and Stanley. Every player from Ronaldo who plays at Man United has lose confidence. What has Standly done in football to be compared to onana?
