The weird thing is that he's so underrated in Holland... most people won't have him in their top 5 of Dutch players. I think he's in the same category as Van Basten if we talk about pure nr. 9's. What a joy to watch. Dankjewel!
@@Hervey.Abotsi1. Cruijff. 2. Van Basten. 3. Gullit. 4. Robben. 5. Bergkamp. He is not underrated but there have been a lot of great strikers from Holland. 🇳🇱
The little dink against arsenal was pure class, considering how important that game was he kept his cool and didn't just blast it like most strikers would under that pressure
I don’t know. They seemed to play so much better back then. One because they were so much more physical. Men’s men. The game was so much better and more beautiful to watch, seeing the glory days in this video. I’m a West Ham fan BTW. So, nothing to with Man Uz
I get some others great Dutch strikers Pierre van Hooijdonk Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink Klaas Jan Huntelaar Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink Patric Kluivert Willy van der Kuijlen ( although he was not a positional forward , playing the most as offensive midlefielder , he scored 308 goals playing for PSV Eindhoven on the 70 and 80 . This the record scoring yet for the Eredivisie League in it's history
Is there anyone in modern times who can hold the ball like a magnet and finish ice cool and not fumble when defenders rush??? I haven't seen even Haaland do that who purely plays power game. Truly a lost breed of striker now!!!
