Great minds, my good man. I was a damned fool for wavering on them a couple weeks ago, but I'm fully back for the rest of the season. Things can get real interesting with them in single-game elimination matches.

My arrow pointing up is probably Washington- after spending most of the season in the shadow of Orlando and KC they're really showing people why you shouldn't bet against them. Arrow pointing down is Chicago, who not only struggles to score without Mal but now seems to struggle even with her (granted the last match was against Orlando). Ludmila looked promising though in that match as a sub, so I think it's just a matter of building chemistry together. I'm not sure exactly how free agency works with the new CBA but there are some big names (like Christen Press) that I wonder if the Red Stars can take advantage of.

These are great picks. If Orlando doesn't win the NWSL title, I think it'll be Washington. Chicago is in a strange spot after the Staab injury and the Ludmila/Grosso additions. And now that we're awaiting news on Swanson's potential injury, it feels like the arrow is in danger of pointing straight down.
