Whatsup guys welcome back to my channel! Today's video is a NYC apartment tour! I just recently moved into a new two bedroom two bathroom apartment in Manhattan and wanted to give you guys a tour! We were able to get a great deal on our dream apartment due to the current state of the market. This is a luxury high rise apartment building with full amenities. For people asking how much, I was looking for a 2BR in Manhattan. One of the luxury high rise buildings I looked at recently had a two BR for $10k per month with 4 months off. So that’s about $6700 per month net rent. But that’s only up until the end of the lease when the rent would go back up to the 10k rate. I’ve found a lot of buildings like this are just offering temporary deals like this - with months off the market lease price, which is still massively high. So this couple might move after their lease is up or maybe they got a real deal where the lease amount was actually lowered to around 6k vs just getting free months of rent like a lot of buildings are doing so they can keep their prices high when everyone starts pouring back into the city. It’s extremely expensive to live in NYC, much less a luxury building in NYC.

Eh, even that is a bit expensive for Manhattan. A luxury high rise two bedroom usually goes for about $6500-$7500 a month. If you want a bit of an upgrade in quality (usually just more square footage despite the same amount of bedrooms), THEN it starts reaching $8000-$10000. TL;DR you most likely looked at one of the most expensive luxury high rises and didn’t attempt to look at multiple luxury high rises in order to make a proper average
