@@CassiePaulsenVlogs Ms. Serabian , broke my heart almost five years I was with her ,and off and on at HB. Studio , I donated twice , tried to have a zoom meeting with Lorraine, Aristic Director Edith Meeks and me to settle misunderstandings, I was ignored. Edith Meeks called me once , nothing got settled. I have reached out to her more times, her and Ms. Serabian just ignore me as if I don't matter as a student. Heartbreaking. I want to thank you so much for bringing " The Truth" to light , your story gave me relief, and validation, that it wasn't me after all. You saved me ! Your review ,was so true . Thank you ! I was supposed to take acting 2 with Julissa Roman at HB. I got a scholarship but now I’m second guessing it because I have to pay some out of pocket. Would you suggest I try looking into a different studio?
it's possible an experience with a different teacher would be better, but only you can make that choice! i've heard great things about the Barrow Group
Hello Cassie. I'm sorry that you had bad experience with HB Studio. We've been around since 1945 and being an Acting Studio that has been around for 79 years, our community is multi-generational. Some of our instructors have been teaching here for decades, and their social practices are outdated. As an organization, we do not agree with their behaviors that you have experienced.
