I think it's really important to talk about how much Nyla has been wanting a kid but she always thought she couldn't get pregnant again. It was so good to see this vulnerable side of her, we are so used to seeing her very tough. Wishing everything goes well for her during this time!
As a mom, this made me tear up. I really love the character and hope all goes well. Even if it is the Ex's, it's still hers and I have no doubt she will love the baby either way.

@mela I don't think we gonna get that. They had many times to explore that scenario but they keep putting them apart. But This new ADA gonna be her love interest. From the first moment between them they had that Angela and Wesley vibe.

I really really hope this baby is James own and not Donovan own. Because I honestly love James and Nyla. All of these couples on the Rookie are awesome. Nyla and James John and Bailey Tim and his gf Angela and Wesley Lucy and this new ADA(because let's face it from their first interaction we KNOW they was going to be the second Angela and Wesley)🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
And Nyla is a smart woman. If she thought for even a sec that it could be the ex's, it would have been brought up. Unless it's just really bad writing. 🤷

YES she did but that was MONTHS beforehand!! Her EX is NOT the dad!! NO ONE wants to see them FIGHT over another child + I’m sure Nyla was SMART enough to use protection w her ex!!! Now that the baby is here…it’s clear to see James IS the father!!!
Nyla really needs to covertly figure out who the Daddy is. Normally I'd say, who cares just be happy... problem is, if it's Dom's kid, it'll be pretty freakin' obvious.

9 times out of 10 when a character in a tv show gets pregnant its because the actress is pregnant as well. That way they don't have to retire their character or have to hide the baby bump.
