Thanks Mike..a timely video as I’m trying to make a decision about what next! I’m pretty sure it’ll be a V12HT with Nylonove foot plates. Hope you are enjoying the holiday period, and wishing you a very happy and successful New Year !
Hi Martin! My friend Ali rides a V12 HT. Another friend of mine Atanas also got one recently but with the newer tire that behaves a bit better. The Nylonove footplates are definitely very nice! I tried the Nylonove Pads today as well and they are really, really good! Thank you and hope you have a great New Year too!
@@frankc.3232 Thanks Frank! I was pretty sure they were adjustable. I just wasn't sure how. I am actually happy with the angle they are at now but it's great to know that I can fiddle!
The Stormbox 2 which I purchased has a Music EQ setting and when set to that the bass has some serious punch and kicks the Boses ass! All while sounding clearer and louder. So they did a really good job!
A bit of marine white lithium grease on those footplate pins please. Putting them together dry, and you will be taking the pins out with a hammer :-) More of a concern with the die-cast footplates admittedly. I like a little camber on the footplates. They certainly look the business, love my Nylonove footplates on the 16X and the S18. Footplates not pedals, you can't pedal an EUC :-) Can't believe you're riding those conditions - Sweden I guess, the people, or the Country - not sure about that :-) What tyre? a track perhaps, studs, chains, a steel rim like an ice skate :-) Kiddin' you seem to do amazingly well in those slippery conditions.
Thanks! Damn I noticed when removing the pins from the e-Rides pedals. Had to bang them out! The Nylonove were lubed but again there I could have added some more grease. I will have to go buy some. It will be interesting to try them on the EXN and especially now that I have reflashed it to 78% PWM. I will try with my Murland fish pedal plates first though. Haha I have always called them pedals. So does Clark (Pedals), etc. Footplates makes it sound like the actual plate on top. The conditions are just fine and lots of fun! We took a few a laps around the speedway... going super slow... then I realised afterwards that we were basically riding on ice haha. Ronnie has spiked his S22 tire and that one does very nicely! Only spikes can save us when we are on ice. Knobby tires work nicely on soft snow. Just takes some practice and getting used to. And then re-learning how to ride when the snow and ice is gone haha.
