It is SO refreshing to hear her call it a “nude lip set”. I am so sick of “nude” being synonymous with “light peachy beige”. This is deep, it is rich, it is brown, and it is nude!
That would be amazing! It would definitely open up another venue for darker skin tones that sadly is still lacking in the market. I might not need it for myself, but I DO LOOK for that. When I see lousy shade ranges, I'm much less interested in buying anything from a brand.

I LOVE the naming of it as a nude kit. I'm a teacher, and I get upset when my students pick up beige pencils and call it "skin colour". I have to explain it to them that it might be their skin colour but it's not THE colour of skin. We all come in a spectrum of colours, and they're all amazing.

Honestly I think brown lip colours on every skin tone are seriously underrated, I love wearing a dark brown cause it’s like vampy while still being a more natural tone and goes great with brown eyeshadow for a monochromatic look!
So excited for you! I’m always amazed at how hard it is to find a dark lip liner that doesn’t pull too red or purple. For years we have only had the Dark Dimensional Brown liner from Makeup Forever to contend with. I hope Dose of Colors will keep this lip liner on the market for individual purchase for years to come because the brown girls need it and we need it accessible. Don’t give us a staple and then take it away! Only ColourPop does that ☕️

It'll look good on you! There are pictures on the dose site with fair models, it looks edgy and gothic leaning on light skin. I'm medium toned and I'm hoping I get that effect as well haha. That lighter tone lipstick and the liner paired would also look great on lighter tones

I think every brand needs Nyma on their team! Any brand wanting to fulfill the deep categories of their products needs to put Nyma on the production! Straight up! I think we could get the deep categories not a joke if they incorporated actual deep colored women/men in the production!
i remember a while back i walked into sephora asking if they had a dark brown lip liner and they were all scrambling to try and help find one but they just didn’t carry one :/ i’ve been using eyeliners, eye brow pencils, and i’ve found some dark lip liners but the colors would sometimes be off, but these sets are exactly what i needed!!

I'm seeing this now. I checked the DOC website and saw your nude set is already out of stock. Then saw you modelling for them and I was like 😮 cuz you seriously looked so pretty in them. The nude colours are what people with dark skins deserve. Those are the true nudes for them. As much as new brands are launching, they aren't really thinking of black people although that's exactly where the demand is. Having a good foundation range isn't enough.
