On May 27, 2019, NYU Abu Dhabi graduated the Class of 2019 at the University's Saadiyat Island campus. Speeches included a welcome by graduating senior Majida Al Maktoum, a student keynote by Rayan Elsharkawi, remarks by NYUAD Vice Chancellor Al Bloom and NYU President Andrew Hamilton, and a keynote address from olympic medalist Bonnie St. John.
