I quite like this mod, it made the fight much more engaging to solo. Among other things, it made Nyx hit harder, hit more, have more variety on what she does. Very much an improvement compared to the Vanilla version.
Now incorporating the multiple tweaks added that affects the gameplay quite a bit. Things such as disabling of healing items for HP and SP, lower base damage multiplier for the player side, while also having the enemies hit harder, revamp AI in certain phases and more.
The boss is still pattern-based in this mod. However, it has also become much more engaging in the sense that the preparations required is much more engaging for a player in-tune with the battle system. This mod has impressed me in that way. It seems like it can be handled by a competent player but can be a decent challenge for those that are still learning. Probably the best bits for the mod is the revamping of many story bosses to be engaging to deal with.
For this fight, I opted to try my hand to soloing the boss without using personas with incenses. And barring myself from using a Magic Mastery persona. Apparently the rebalance of the Theurgias made it so King and I with Mastery competes with Scarlet Havoc when it does a Critical. Anyways as it stands, this is a testament to how the mod is more on the balanced side of things, as the things I pulled off here requires intimate knowledge of the changes done.
Also please don't mind my controller disconnecting. I'm honestly not sure how that even happened.
