Upper Mangatangi Reservoir is one of the many man made lakes that feed water to the city of Auckland.
This Lake qualifies as one of the LAKES for the New Zealand Lakes Award.
It has the designator of ZLL-1111.
Upper Mangatawhiri Reservoir is with the Hunua Regional Park and so this activation also qualifies for the POTA (Parks on the Air) Award with the designator of ZL-0007.
