This is totally awesome! The guy voicing over the video had me dying of laughter because of the way he explained what tenor drummers are 😂 (I’m one myself) it was when the St Andrews College pipe band was marching in up to the line.

New Zealand Police where absolutely spectacular. They should have lifted the trophy last year in my opinion. Can’t wait to hear them live in August.

Enjoying the NZ police band again...just had to... And Tim, I totally agree about the tenor drums!

The pipes and drums would march out first to announce the approaching armies.

You have to realize that these pipers and drummers would play this on a battlefield, while combat was happening around them!!!!!!!!!

This band can definately compete with the top 5 in the world.

Really and pleasantly surprised to hear how NZ police have come up this year. Great bright playing and expression second to none. The overall ensemble is overpowering ,with set and medley well constructed. There will surely be an upset to the top six at Glasgow or maybe the top spot? Can anyone please inform of how this difference was made in a relative short period? Congratulations from N Ireland.

Just one reason the wonderful Kiwis are our soul mates. This relationship will be sealed when we get some guys in Glasgow to do a Hakka. I think they would be quite good at it. Attitude !

Out of curiosity, does anybody know why that guy is holding up a picture during NZPPBS second set? I presume the police did something wrong and they're protesting, but I'd be interested to know. Great stuff brassbanned! I just spent Sunday evening watching this, and I can't honestly think of a better thing to do.
