I used to pitch mens fast pitch, and I got called for illegal pitches for that crow hop. Is it legal now? His feet are on the ground before the ball leaves his hand I think.
is it legal to jump off the pitchers board like a good 5 or 6 feet before ya throw the pitch!? Like the guy is throwing from the spot he hopped too before pitching.t. And hes jumping to the side which gives an entirely different angle to the pitch. Seems pretty redundant to even have a pitchers board if all your gonna use it for is to launch yourself at the batter before ya throw the pitch! Back in the day you had to have one foot on that board when ya threw the pitch or it was called an illegal pitch. Making something easier doesnt make players better unless ya count cheating!
Silly questions. No matter your opinion or feel about it, this was an international game and not a SINGLE one of these pitches shown was called illegal. So nope. What ever you think about the rules, you're wrong. It's not cheating and perfectly legal no matter how much you cry about it 😢 Nick was an incredible pitcher and about as close to unhittable as you can get.
@@mckayburgess8427 "silly questions." and "whatever I think about the rules." "cry about it" Feminized wonder boy! lol I've seen many pitchers do the same so don't care what this dudes name is and its not what I think about the rules, it was the rules back in the 70"s. Your some leftist twit aren't ya!?
@@mckayburgess8427 It used to be illegal to lift both your feet at the same time when I was playing, dont know if the rules have changed or if the refrees were throwing a blind eye.
only thing that makes me mad about mens...is that in womens they make you drag the toe..... and in mens they get to f***ing cro hop towards the damn hitters... we throw harder right? why do we not play by the same rules? why do are they allowed the advantage that canc ut 3-4 feet of distance... i never understood it
No! Because the pitcher is not on the rubber when he releases the ball. Watch where his feet land when he throws...the pitcher literally jumps off the rubber, lands in another spot then throws the ball! That's not legal and it shouldn't be legal in this game!
