Its the cpu that matters when playing games like fortnite, since its a cpu based game. I think what they did was bought an expensive gpu but forgot about matching the cpu power with it.
the hz of ur monitor is how much fps u will be able to see as long as ur pc runs the same number hz or faster in fps. Meaning if u have 240hz but ur pc runs 500fps u will only see 240fps. If ur pc runs 140 fps but ur monitor is 240 then u will only see 140 since ur pc cant run at the same speed as 240. Capping ur monitor at 240 or setting a custom cap for 260 or above is best for stable frames as long as ur pc can run it. If you cannot run 240 or anything above it then cap it at 240 and leave it. If your pc can run above 240 then cap it higher than 240 for more stability and gpu usage to not bottleneck (system instability) and it should run way smoother.
@@Isaiah23040 mb meant a 7800x3d, either way a 5800x3d doesn't bottle neck a decent gpu that much. it depends if you want an amd or an intel system tbh.
@@BatmanBobVIn oh I kinda get what your sayin so just get the nzxt player one not prime it’s on sale for 600 and it runs 200fps on low settings and 60 on ultra high
