This is a German Folk Song, that is about the Westerwald part of Germany! (Written in 1932)
This song was sung by German Soldiers in WW2, but has nothing to do with politics and hate. (Just translate the Lyrics)

The song was written in 1932, before Hitler came to power. The song is cheerful.

We can over look the time periode cause it lifts my spirit everytime. We all love music no matter where it comes from. Jazz came from the suffering and endurance of the AA or black slaves. We still appreciate art even after we find out the artist was a total %$??%?.

Actually, this was written during The Depression era - also, in Germany, at the time...This song had - and has - nothing to with WW2.
