West Point Organist Craig Williams plays the iconic paraphrase of Psalm 90, set to the tune "St. Anne." This hymn stands as a testament to the passing of time and being thankful for all in the present, as well as treasuring memories and seeing God's hand in all things. The Cadet Chapel pipe organ is foremost a church organ, and this hymn shows how a straightforward approach to the harmonic language of this hymn can be embellished by the organ's many colors.

One of my absolute favorite top 5 church hymns... Especially the verse I call the evolution verse... "A thousand ages in thy sight are like an evening gone... short as the watch that ends the night before the rising Sun". And I want to leave my church for the last time with this..

Thank you, Charlie. The hymn is appropriate for so many occasions! I don't play it at West Point as much as I used to, but I always have it handy.

Magnificent hymn playing, Craig! My favorite was the 3rd verse with the tenor cantus firmus.

A great and wonderful organist who plays similar to a Presbyterian organist at a church that I attended about 30 years who I considered among the very best & inspiring
