Not true. Innocent people do flee because they don't want their lives ruined. With this so called justice system, any innocent person who is rational and knows that they won't get a fair chance would run to hold onto their freedom. It's happened in the past. Jesus Christ could have come down from the skies and said Simpson was guilty, and still the jury was going to acquit him. The verdict was determined from day one, minute one of the trial.
