When plotting graph is it ok to put dot instead of cross to show coordinates ? Also how to know when to draw the histogram as a bar chart ?

You can put anything a dot cross or whatever you wish And it'll be mentioned in question if it has to be a histogram

In 9.c.iii) why you changed the sign of the numbers ? Why they changed from -5 to 5 and +10 to -10 ?

How to solve a quadratic equation. 1. by factorization and then equate to 0 2. by using the formula I used 1. so after factorization. I have (y-5)(y+10) = 0 so, I still have to find the value of y... so, equate to 0 (y-5) = 0 and (y+10) = 0 so, sending the constants to the other side will change their signs y = 5 and y = -10

Question: Triangle B (object) is mapped onto Triangle C (image) ✓ Transformation Matrix = *Matrix of image* multiplied by *Inverse of Matrix of object* • Take any two corresponding points i.e for image if we take (7,2) and (8,2) then for object we can take (-1,2) and (-2,2) • Take the inverse of object points • Put the points in the formula above

The value was in cents and we were supposed to give in dollars. To convert cents into dollars we divide the value by 100. And to convert dollars into cents we multiply it by 100

sir in 5c(i) i tried to solve by OP as radius of the semicircle (solved AP by 1.8tan 60 +OA) but the answer is different. How come?

The question says: *half* of the red beads have a yellow spot • We have found the number of red beads in part (iii) which is 12 so half of red beads would be 6 • The total number of beads in the bag is 20 (12 red and 8 blue) • This means that beads which have a yellow spot are 6 out of 20 Back to question, they say *two* beads are chosen and *neither* has the yellow spot • Beads which don't have yellow spot = 20 - 6 which is 14 • Probability of first non-yellow bead = 14 out of 20 Probability of second non-yellow bead = 13 out of 19 (reduced as we are not replacing the beads) • Total probability = 14/20 multiplied by 13/19 (We multiply as we have to find probability of first bead AND second bead)
