Also I kinda disagree with the not good on road courses thing. He’s won the Rolex 24 at the Daytona road course, he usually runs top 10 at Watkins Glen, and both races he’s run at the roval, he’s been race winning fast, but has been screwed by other circumstances. He’s honestly pretty good on road courses imo. The only one he struggles that hard on is sonoma

Well DW, I think if you need any proof for your theory on the heat tornado thing, lap 55 (I think. It was the 6th caution, it just says 14 to go and I did the math off the top of my head) of this race is the thing to look at.

Nascar needs to get rid of the stage races or just let the race stay green. If you truly want to have a “playoff”, do it like all sports and go extra races (playoffs would happen after the 36 race regular season). I want my old school nascar pre 2003 back.
Back in the late 80's all the 90's and i believe a few years in the early 00's they raced at 2 road courses every year. WATKINS GLEN , & RIVERSIDE, but NASCAR removed them from the race schedule. I'm not sure what the reason was for them to take them off? My only guess is that they had low attendance or the drivers really disliked them. Just my thoughts. i always wondered why they never even gave the Daytona road course a chance. But as fan its my opinion that these cars no matter what kind of set up you have there very tough to maneuver on any road course. But they did do it for a good 20 years prior.
@@warrenparker8282 I couldn’t agree more with you! Plus they took off Chicagoland speedway! Which is really the only way I can see a race. I have wanted to experience Daytona& Dega super speedways but never had the chance to. I wish I would’ve been able to see Dale Sr Drive in person before his passing! He was the ultimate one man army in a race car! After he had a bad wreck and I can’t remember what track it was at but the brickyard was the next race and he his sternum was broke and his ribs broke& he was in pain it was the only time he ever got out of a car during a race and let another driver finish it. He was so pissed that he had to do that & the next race was at the Glen and even though he was still broken he set a new track record while qualifying. He was so awesome. But I still don’t know why they built some of these tracks that are less than 20 years old and now they have taken them off I believe 3 of them and one was Chicagoland. But I totally agree and I’m not a fan of these new cars at all! What are your thoughts? 👍🏻👋😁
