Aloha aku kākou, enjoyed hearing this mele and hula. First heard and loved this mele in 1998 when I stayed a couple years O'ahu learning oleo Hawai'i a na mele o Hawai'i. Never want to forget Melvin sharing this mele in a hotel room in Palo Alto one morning around 2000, before we went for fish breakfast with Uncle Moe, his manager, and the rest of the boys at a big sushi smorgy someplace there.
