O18 Accidentally Knocked from Nest 7/20/24 

After dark, around 9:31 pm, a raccoon appeared on the left side of the nest. Mom was calling out. A short time after, Mom flew from the nest at the same time that O18 was lifting her wings in a defensive move. Mom clipped O18, causing her to lose her balance and fludge from the nest. Sounds of the raccoon on the ground have been heard on cam. We will see what the morning brings.
