O2 Inside Line | Go behind the scenes as England prepared for their second Quilter International against Ireland. There's also a special visit from World Cup winner Jonny Wilkinson for the kickers.
Curry makes a hit. Tackles the ref. Apologises. Helps him up. Wins a turnover. All in 10 seconds. "Do you understand what it means to be relentless?". I think Mr. Curry does.
I agree they both are very professional....but I just cant respect Ford because of his behaviour during the 2015 WC where he undermined Lancaster on his dad's request and then threw a paddy because Sam Burgess was picked in front of him...then to cap it off he was responsible for the idiotic decision to kick for touch against Wales because he wanted to prove a point. Yes he was young (and probably manipulated by his dad to a certain extent) but unless he brings home a WC I'm always going to view him as someone you cant trust....sorry.
@@mushimi_ sure...I dont know Sam Burgess but he never said anything at the time and only came out publicly with it now when hes retired and got nothing to gain. I believe him but yes you could quite easily say he was wrong or talking b*llocks because he doesnt like George Ford or his dad.
Imagine playing 10 for England and not just that but being coached by Wilko - literally what kids dream of. Love Gengey's intensity on the bench too, nothing but passion.
One of the most fascinating inside videos that one...absolutely loved it, I was gutted it ended! Please send Gareth Southgate a link to this channel. The chasm is miles apart.
I never got to play properly in my life and for some time I couldn't even watch a game or especially an England game, I had so much regret it all hurt so much, not that I would have been good just I made mistakes to not play enough. But all I can say now is how much I love it and how much it makes my life better. Thank you to all the player and staff for what they do, rugby is bigger than the game itself. All you guys are amazing. I know what you've put into becoming the players you are and all I can say in a small way that I appreciate it! Without it my life would be very different. Thank you so much! England rugby! ❤️❤️👍💪
Thanks great video nice to see the lads training well presented .England have a team that is switched on they deserve there wins ,now Owen Farrell in my eye is a class player can give it and take it hes a good lad ,from an Irish fan hate when you beat us ha ha ha cheers
I remember watching the documentary about the 2002-03 England team, 'Sweet Chariot', and seeing the day before the game treats then. Glad to see they're still doing that!
Not commented on one of these vids before but been watching them all, absolutely love them. So interesting for the fans it’s awesome thanks England media👍🏻🍻 England 💪🏻
The modern players would eat anyone from the 03 side for breakfast. Watch the games from 20 years ago and the intensity is nothing like it is now. The players are so much fast and bigger and they’re hit are a lot more powerful
@@alanb9443 yeah so if Hill was around now he would train at a different level too bud...hes the best blindside England have ever had...no way would players like Underhill have him for breakfast
Great insight into the engine that is driving this chariot forward- helps to appreciate all the behind the scenes work and effort that goes into the preparing the team well Things that stand out is the bond that is growing in the team- which was lacking during Lancasters era despite a star-tinted team sheet And internal management - lots of voices coming from within. Helps the players learn to react to what is in front of them and adapt. Also major props to Wilkinson for stepping in- arguably one of the best players to adorn the red rose, but that aside, he was relentless almost OTT in his training and perfectionism. That won't go amiss with these guys.
Any chance of a Richard Hill recipe leak, cos I feel I need the biscuit-cake in my life?? Perhaps a couple of the lads doing a bake off style attempt at recreating it.
Such a shame that there were 80,000 people missing to roar as Jonny took off for his 2nd try. Love the reaction of the Finishers as he scored. Great squad mentality
England looking like a banging side, strong with depth. Really good Manager helps massively, because NZ have the players as an example but a lack luster Manager now, so NZ are going to be in the coldrums probably until well after the 2023 WC, so 2028. I reckon on current form, you would be an idiot not to put your money on England or France with Argentina and Australia as outside bets to win 2023. Well done England, love the May tries, World Class players with a World Class Manager. May and other England players when you see them interviewed are thoroughly nice lads, not what as a Kiwi I expected to be honest, haha. Stereotyped you English as arrogant, self centered, but really, bloody good side and brimming with confidence but not overconfident. Nice, keep that positive attitude and you will get further Southern Hemisphere admirers like me hehe. Knocked out lack luster NZ last year too. Just beat those Jaffa Cake South Africans will ya next time you see them.
@@ElliotG89 THEY NEED TO GET OPTIONS ON NR 8... AND SO GET EXSPERIENCE. USING BILLY WHOLE TIME NOT GUD. SAME WITH NR9... AND JOHHNY MAY. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THESE GUYS GET INJURED...
How are England living rent free in your head even after you guys beat us in the World Cup.. Literally all of your comments are on England’s videos lol
It’s a joke that Ford is even in the squad, fair enough he may be a good leader but Simmonds is 10x the player and captain of Exeter so it’s not like you’re losing much in leadership ability
Did you watch the World Cup? One of England's stand out performers throughout. Simmonds is great but he's behind en epic pack so they give him the ball on a plate. Not sure he'd be anything special without that.
@@SolarMumuns 😂 firstly our best performances came with Faz, Slade and Manu Barr the NZ which credit to Ford was the best game he’s ever played in an England shirt also did you not watch the World Cup final, he’s the reason we couldn’t get anything going PSDT was just drifting every single time and the second receiver got man and ball because they knew he would just pass and given enough repetitive pressure would just kick the ball down the middle of the pitch in panic, we need a 10 who is a running threat as well as a kicker and a conductor, Ford can only kick (down the middle) and conduct (with no pressure) he’s had maybe 5 great games in 50 odd caps, it’s not good enough and it’s time for someone else to have a go
With your fantastic rugby insight and knowledge you should put your CV in for the head coach job when it next comes available. Will be interesting to see you apply your game plan and selection choices, I'm sure you would win the world cup.
