O2 Inside Line | Find out how the squad prepared for their return to Twickenham to face the Barbarians and go behind the scenes as the whole squad were informed and then adapted to the news that the game was cancelled. #WearTheRose
Nz man and ABs fan. I can't get enough of this behind the scenes series of top level rugby. Such a great watch I'm always riveted. Thanks for putting this together. I can't help but see this England squad plays for each other and thier fans
Genge won't be happy being smoked by itoje twice in one video. What an exciting England side this is, I quality all over the park. And with big Joe C. Back too.
Interesting seeing the squads at the start with them putting Furbank at 10 maybe he could cover there especially cause Eddie only selected Umaga, Farrel and possibly Max Malins who could play there
I fucking love rugby and everything about it. On and off the field. Some of the best memories I've made have been around rugby and with the amazing diversity of people who play it
Clearly these players are geared up for a competitive game and need one. Selection opinions abound but as a fans we want all 15 to put in a performance. I would like us at it for 80 minutes with high tempo game and not allow a stop go slow one.
They need nr 10 that bring serious x factor and there is. Hav Simmons at 10 or start Farrel at. Hav proper centre pair and Simmons from benc. His got quite speed and also reads the game well there in front. Ford has adv and loads disadv too. Serious need to allow more new guys playing.
@@ecallk5544 yeah I think so. He’s been the European player of the year, multiple World player of the year nominee, captained his country to the world record equalling unbeaten run/win streak and to a runners up in a World Cup. He’s not far behind Jonny for international points scored even Jonny said he thought Farrel was better than he was. People who don’t like him because of his aggression or the fact he doesnt do the Cipriani/Russel fancy stuff don’t see the fact that his game management is excellent and he’s a massive reason why his club and country are so successful!!
@@brentmeistergeneral6074 Different strokes for different folks. IMO he is a thug . Getting away with despicable behaviour doesn't make the perpetrator worthy of admiration - it taints what could be a genuinely admirable leader because it does set an example to the next few generations. Others have won world cups and become players of the year without needing to be thugs on the field.
@@ecallk5544 that’s all lovely but part of his make up is getting in the heads of opposition, winding them up. That’s just something he does and it makes him better, same as Rooney when he was young and ruthless. There are many that flirt with the rules, Richie McCaw wasn’t inside in a single game I ever saw him play but he pushed the boundaries, Lawes love a late hit on 10s and often steps over the line... Owen does the same. Again, as an ex player and coach, I’d love some of my old team mates current players to show his level of passion. Like you say, it’s each to their own.
And we wonder why billy vunipola is so slow around the paddock...... he is slower in sprints than our props and is sadly a passenger which the World Cup final proved. Time to move onto Dombrand or Simmonds
Lots of work to do like NZ have lots to do too, but England can never be underestimated. Might want to not get so obsessed though EJ with beating NZ, that cost you the Cup mate, lol. Had to put everything into beating NZ but cut your nose off to spite your own Aussie face, didnt ya. 1 in 5 win past NZ is not a record you should be proud of England. Well done though on winning the messed up 6 Nations and I look forward to the next time you meet NZ :). Good luck, looking like you have some really good players coming through, but I think since the WC, all NH sides other than France have gone backwards, not forwards. That means a return to SH dominance which always seems to happen. Get these periods every now and again, where the NH produce great rugby, but its only for a few years, then boom, back to the SH to dominate. In that rebuild you all are as are NZ, but NZ are ahead again it is obvious. Cannot wait till NZ play you again :P. I hassid a guess that scoreline will be heavily in NZ's favor.
@Jack Of Blades thanks appreciate the congrats Blades. I am not sure the 53-3 loss you obviously talking about has anything to do with it. But if you want to go there: Largest points for SA/Eng Home 58 vs 53 Away 44 vs 39 Largest winning margin SA/Eng Home 48 vs 50 Away 36 vs 19 We have never lost at home to England on the scale of the 6-42 pumping at Twickers...I was there and that stung my english mates particularly badly. Additionally we have given your boys 50 a few times too and never lost a series home or away to England with more wins both home and away. However lets compare apples with apples -so in WC's - we can start with 99 where 5 drops goals hoofed your ladies out the WC, then 07 we drilled you twice and then last year. We have played you 5 times in WC's and won 4 on the way to 3 world cups bud. we also have lost to Japan and Italy....oooooooh thats stings. However its ok as all the above makes it very palatable.
