O2 - Wifi and 4G Calling 

Wrong - Tugo enables ANY device to send and receive calls AND messages. This function is limited to a single device from a limited range of available devices and does not support text messaging. Tugo is being pulled prematurely.

This service has closed we're afraid. We're always adding phones to our Wifi calling service, keep an eye on the website for any updates.

@@o2ukofficial I have a S7 edge on official firmware and it is on the list of supported devices yet my phone does not have any WiFi calling setting....is this because I got my phone from Carphone warehouse?

Hi Adam, is this happening in a certain area or everywhere? We're continuing to extend compatibility of handsets with Wifi and 4G calling.

Generally in Central London area but most often in Kings Cross. Tried switch between 4g and Wifi and it didn't worked at all. I have Samsung Galaxy S8+ from O2. I was so happy TU GO customer but with no logical reason you guys closing this very useful service leaving many customers with no other option. Why texts are not available on VoWiFi ?

I was mostly thinking about Android users, but nonetheless it's nice to hear you had that pleasant surprise with the previous version :)

Hi there, we're sorry for any disappointment caused. We review our products on an ongoing basis to ensure we offer our customers greater flexibility and the latest calling options. We'll be keeping all customers that use TU Go updated about alternative calling options. We'll continue to extend our 4G and Wifi calling compatible handsets. Third party calling/messaging apps may offer similar functionality.

Disappointment is an understatement - What o2 have cause by this backwards move is disruption and loss of service with all the consequences that will entail for those of us who rely on this app in particular those who's livelihoods depend on the mobile number being able to receive and make BOTH calls and text messages. There are no like for like alternatives and o2 have done a great disservice to their customers. This app is being pulled prematurely. Good customer service does not leave customers stranded without functionality, no alternative and no means of reassurance. If there are any plans for an alternative in the pipeline then these should have been implemented or published prior to the notice of discontinuation of Tugo! Horrendous decision!

There are no third party replacements for TU app. I need to call and text from my O2 phone, not a general voip app. As well as one number is better than 15 user names on chat apps that not all people will use or have access too.
