just keep in mind chino hills is a public high school while oak hill academy recruits player across the nation, basically a junior college. still a great ass game though!! not even surprised that chino hills lost. its just the fact that liangelo got hurt early in the game preventing them from paying their usual style making fastbreak plays, but still manages to score 23 points, and lamelo with 36!!! call chino hills overrated all you want, this game proved that they can also compete with all these other nationally ranked teams

Whatever you say they were competing with a top tier magnet private school as a public hs. They lost arguably their best player in their only loss is 62 games. That's pretty telling. Their most criticized player dropped 30 something against a top tier team and defense. This was honestly a very good game for them.

LiAngelo is a 3 star recruit for a reason. He wasn't injured in the first half. If I am correct, he "hurt" his knee in the 3rd quarter. Shooting 22 3's and like 38 shots total or something, and dropping ONLY 23 shows. Plus watch him defend. Watch him care about the game. Watch him make a good pass. Watch him not cherry pick. Oh wait, you can't because he doesn't defend, or pass, or have heart at all. And all these kids that back him up and wanna be like him are gonna bring the downfall of basketball. Watch the tape. Basketball is changing cause of LaMelo and Steph Curry jacking up shit from 30 feet, and all the kids wanna do it now. Watch Oak Hill. They play such good basketball. Notice all of their shots are open jumpers or open/slightly contested layups. About time some team brought justice to Chino Hills, and to basketball in general. Props to a large win streak, but it's hard to respect when they are such a selfish team. If Oak Hill goes on a 60 game win streak, then THAT is good basketball and hella props to them. It just sickens me to see people back up these guys so much. Yeah they're nice and could shit on me and 99% of the people in the comments section, but that doesn't mean I can't critique their selfishness, sloppy, and flat out bad representation of basketball. Oh and one last thing, even the refs in this game tried to throw it to make Chino Hills win. That bullshit loose ball call in the last minute, the technical foul for delay of game. Hell of a game, Oak Hill.

He can't create his own shot well enough off the dribble. 4. He's as slow as molasses. I feel like the chino hills bigs weren't as productive this game as they were in previous games. Eli Scott, at times, looked tired and breathed and didn't hustle back on fast breaks. He also had trouble with the oak hill bigs and couldn't easily post up as he normally does. Not saying they could've won if they played harder but it is clear he is a definitive factor to this chino hills team.

I like how people are saying Chino Hills got "exposed". I'm from Virginia and have seen Oak Hill play, they are no joke. They recruit heavily throughout the country and also produced a man by the name of Carmelo Anthony. Props to Chino Hills for staying ahead for most the game. LiAngelo sucks. Well not sucks but his game isn't polished enough to compete at a high level of play. But LaMelo proved that he can play some fucking ball! Oh and remember, Oak Hill recruits players, Chino Hills is a public school.

Two Things: 1) Liangelo need to quit basketball after high school and walk on for UCLA football at tightend or something because his game is not going to transfer at all at the next level. To me, 21 and 0 are the keys to this chino hills team, they clean up a lot of bad misses and turn stupid plays into a rebound and put back. They're in great shape too, to bang and still get down the floor and then still out jump other bigs, impressive.

To those speaking on Chino Hills being a public school kids transfer all the time in Cali. Tyson Chandler, for example, played at Dominguez in Compton even though he was from San Diego. And this Chino Hills team has at least 4 transfers on it such as Eli Scott who starts.

My takeaways from this game: -Chino Hills is still the best team in the nation: They led the entire game and put up a fight in that last minute. -Oak Hill had the matchup advantage: Their size alone chipped at CH and tired them out. Look at all the bad/forced shots put up by CH at the end of the game. Oak Hill had it in the bag by then. -LaMelo is an absolute beast: 30+ points against that talented Oak Hill team AND exposed his defender more than once. He got what he wanted and was the standout star (as usual) for CH

refs did every possible thing to give Chino the game at the end and they still lost. Disgusting job by the refs.

Im sorry but Liangelo is trash. who wants a player that can shoot but cant create a shot for himself (with terrible shot selection might i add) or play defense. and he lacks athleticism, i mean the guy is 6'6 but i havent seen him dunk once this seasons. he has two moves, the pivot and the post up. everything after that is a dash up. Lamelo doesnt have the best shot selection either he will shoot from anywhere but atleast he can move the ball and has dribbling skills. He needs to focus on improving his athleticism though. i cant see liangelo in the NBA or being a one and done like their dad is hoping.
