1:05 I agree, I stepped on mine which gave a chilling crack noise and they layed there in 3 pieces.. clicked them back together and its like nothing happened?
Hey Sswcubes! Thanks for reaching out and watching the video. Which lenses did you get for the Turbine frame?? The Metal Holbrooks have been a hot pair of sunglasses and you can't go wrong with the original Oakley Holbrooks either. Were you more interested in the metal Holbrook or the original? I have attached links to both so you can check them out on the website. www.sportrx.com/oakley-holbrook-metal.html www.sportrx.com/oakley-holbrook.html
SportRx i got the polarized model with the slight chrome look to it. I believe you reviewed the same model and lens combo. Thanks for the tip looking forward to owning the Holbrook model soon.
HI! Oakley has a few lenses with at blue mirror, but if you're speaking about the Prizm Sapphire Iridium, then yes, that particular lens uses a grey base tint but the contrast achieved provides more of a warm amber tone when grey base is combined with the Sapphire Blue mirror. Hope this helps!
i bought the Oakley Holbrook with the Prizm Sapphire fade lenses.d2 but i dont really like because i want more darkness in what i see, which lenses are you suggest to check?
Hello Stefanos! I would recommend the PRIZM Black Iridium or Black Iridium Polarized if you are looking for a darker tint lens. Thanks for reaching out!
If you have the PRIZM Sapphire, you can try the PRIZM Sapphire polarized lens. That lens will have a polarized filter that will help to reduce glare and also make the lenses just a bit darker.
im sorry, didn´t say that.I have the polarized sapphire prizm as tyler wear in first minutes of video. sorry but im comfused with so many lens and i cannot try those sunglasses because no stores available .
Hey Ernesto! The original Oakley Holbrook plus metal Holbrook are considered lifestyle frames and would not be recommended for baseball. However, if that was your only option make sure to get the Prizm field lenses with the original Holbrook.
Exact question. Was gonna get the metal. Then script lenses and swap those new sunglass lenses to my old Holbrooke. But guess gotta get a pair of the old regulars.
Hi Terrence! Rob is wearing the Holbrook Metal in Matte Black with PRIZM Grey lenses. You can check them out here: www.sportrx.com/oakley-holbrook-metal.html
Please send me the link to order Holbrook metal the one same model shown in the video. Is it a daily model or blue prizm ? Please send the link here. I will order it.
Hey Coolmanu55! The Oakley Metal Holbrook in the video is the matte gunmetal frame with the Prizm Sapphire Polarized lenses. I have attached the link below so you can order it from the website :)After clicking the link there should be an option for "sunglasses” on the right side underneath the starting price, it will be an orange tab. Please click that to go through the ordering process. www.sportrx.com/oakley-holbrook-metal.html
Tyler is rocking the Oakley Holbrook with the Prizm Sapphire fade lenses. You can check them out on the website using the link below. www.sportrx.com/oakley-holbrook.html?configuration-view=true
Hey Jase! Those are the Prizm Sapphire Polarized lenses. The camera angle makes it look more like a violet tint but I confirmed with Sunglass Rob that it is the Prizm Sapphire tint.
Hi there! The Holbrook metal starts at $183. You can order here: www.sportrx.com/oakley-holbrook-metal.html or with an optician here: www.sportrx.com/contact
Hey Najiy! :) They are both great frames and you can't go wrong with either choice. It just depends if you prefer the full metal design or if you dig the mix design more.

I love my original Holbrook glasses but I love my Costa Del Mar Fantail 580g lenses. What Costa del Mar style/styles are similar to the Oakley Holbrooks? @SportRx
Hello Troy! The Costa Half Moon are the most similar to the Oakley Holbrook. The lenses on the half moon are just a bit wider and a hair shorter because the frame has a bit more wrap to it.Thanks for reaching out!
Hi William! The frame width is about the same at 132/133mm. The lenses are slightly taller on the Holbrook but wide ron the Cut at 60mm. Temple length is about the same. The Oakley Holbrook has been around for ages and it is a very popular lifestyle frame. However, the Costa cut has a rubber nosepad for extra grip. Either way you really can't go wrong. Hi, I am looking to purchase a pair of Oakleys for my bf that's works in the bright/sunny Alabama heat doing construction. I would like to purchase a pair to protect his eyes and enhance his visibility as well. Can you recommend some lens colors that Oakley makes that would be great for my needs
Hello! If he needs them to be safety rated for work you can check out some other frames here: www.sportrx.com/blog/best-safety-glasses/. He will also be limited on tint options. However, if he does not need them to be safety rated a great lens would be PRIZM Black Iridium(www.sportrx.com/blog/oakley-prizm-everyday-lens-technology/). I would not recommend getting a polarized lens because that does affect depth perception in some individuals. If you need more help in finding the right pair of sunglasses for your boyfriend, you can contact one of our certified opticians for more help: www.sportrx.com/contact. Thanks for reaching out!
The non-metal (O Matter) frames will hold up to any physical demands just as well if not better. There are pros and cons to metal frames but if you are worried about durability, I would not necessarily choose the Holbrook metal over the original Holbrook.
Hello Brandon! The Holbrook Metal is not available for frame customization. Only the original Holbrook can be customized on Oakley's site. Thanks for reaching out!

They are not interchangeable. They can be updated as you get new prescriptions, but being that they are an inline groove mount, they are not the easiest lens to swap on your own.

We would recommend checking out the Oakley Wind Jacket 2.0. It features Oakley's awesome snow lens technology. www.sportrx.com/oakley-wind-jacket-2-0.html
Tyler has the Prizm Sapphire lenses in his sunglasses. Yes, the Shaun White series has the same frame shape as the original Holbrooks so you should be able to replace the lenses.
