All Filters create Oxygen by means of water Flow and the collection of air. Canisters are no better than hang on the back style filters in that regard. It is all about surface water movement.
Nice review. I see that you doesn't mention about noise level. What would you say about noise level? I am very picky in this aspect, and as I am going to place it in the living room I would like to know if it generates some annoying background noise or if it is hardly heard. Thank you
totally silent within 20 minutes if you set it up right. These are my favorite External filters. I can't hear them at all sometimes wonder if they are even on. Yes they are that quiet. Follow the instructions and make sure you fill it with tank water before plugging in. That is how ou prime it. Please like and subscribe as well thanks.
Really disappointed that you unboxed, and opened the canister. I have purchased two (returned the first one) and I cannot get the lid off of the canister. Both sides are unlocked, but it won’t budge. I was hoping to see how it was done.

Hi, great video... I'm Probably wrong, but i think there is a problem with the design of this filter because the sponge filtration is at the end of the flow direction. It is supposed to be at be begining in order to catch big particles. Right?
