Still keep being taken aback by this band all these years later. Keep finding what to me are ‘hidden gems’ such as this. I loved the early singles and Definitely Maybe, wore it out. Stuck with it through Morning Glory era but interest waned around Be Here Now. Never really liked all the stuff that brought them mass attention as much, Wonderwall etc. All these years later I’m into them again big-time, filling the gaps with undiscovered (by me) top tunes: Gas Panic Listen Up Let’s All Make Believe Boneheads Bank Holiday Be Here Now (the track, didn’t pay too much attention first time) Live version of Fade in/out Maybe God Thinks I’m Abel Lyla has come around for renewed attention. Loads of B sides. Just off the top of my head. Loads more. Never saw them before either but just been to see LG at The Ethiad and NG tomorrow in Colwyn Bay. Oasis fest in our house our kid! Any other top tunes I’ve missed?
I remember being about 12/13, i had this on DVD and just used to jam along all night to this song. Noel's little improvs/solos in between the vocals are inspirational!!
The songs written from Noels girlfriends perspective. She dumped him because she hated the band, and he would stay up all night writing music. You think everything you’ve dones fantastic, your musics shite, it keeps me up all night lol

It sounds so imperfect that it's PERFECT (L) That's what oasis have been given to the music all this years, imperfection that makes it all perfect and of course that makes the best band around the world.
Because the first 4 chords are the same as Lithium...big whoop! No one in their right mind would think this is a ripoff of Nirvana! Nirvana didn't invent this chord progression!

I don't mind his voice now, don't get me wrong I do like, but it'd be awesome if he could still sing like this and hit all the high notes crystal clearly :') Suppose it's just rock 'n' roll

you do know that oasis quit drugs in 98 right? and only a VERY small percentage of people actually like slipknot, and those are GENERALLY (not to label someone) emoish in nature. whereas oasis can still draw huge crowds all over the world, despite being practically middle-aged, except for the states because music is shit here.
hazow22 I love Oasis, also love Slipknot. The 'knot started as an "angry" nu metal band their first two albums but matured after Corey Taylor rejoined Stone Sour. Slipknot began using more melody as Corey sung more. They've found a balance between angry Slipknot and the more melodic stuff.
Absolutely epic best front man EVER im so glad i was alive in my prime to watch oasis they made me hair stand up on the back of my neck i saw them live with my brother enjoyed every fuckin GIG Awsome times
Did Liam sing this live anywhere else? I cant find any more videos with him singing live. I can find many live videos of Noel singing but I dont care for his voice on this particular song.
i like this version better than the album version, this is the side of oasis i like: fastpased, the nasal voice liams got live, and bucketloads of distortion :-) but well never see that again now theyve split up i guess...
So if Oasis are shit, why are they so much larger than Slipknot? And why do you suddenly change your mind after telling us you found the music "fine"? I'd rather go see a band that plays good music, which is well written than watch a bunch of guys that seem like they're still teenagers jumping around on stage looking like kids out for trick or treets, screaming into a mic. Anyone can scream, not everyone can sing. And for the record, it's "you're" not "your".
