Lovely place to visit and a great day out,the other half swam with the sea lions and really enjoyed it,although i couldn't tell them apart except Donna's whiskers were'nt as long.Best visited early as it can be really busy, when restrictions are lifted of course.Still hoping to get to Fuerte in Dec,still dreaming!! Keep up the videos and keep safe,Jon and Donna from very hot Poole.
So glad you posted this.. I went with the family a few years ago - taking advantage of the free bus, there and back from Caleta de Fuste. An early start but well worth it if you take in the free extras, like the flying of the birds of prey and being able to see (and even touch) some of the animals they bring around the arena - like snakes and baby crocs. There’s also a free parrot show - or there was then It must have been tough for them to care and feed all the animals, with no income from any visitors for so long.
Hiya JP, a little behind on your videos. Been busy with nanny duties. On catch up now. I hope you are both keeping well. And your fur babies. Enjoyable video. Thank you for the trip to the zoo. Have a great weekend. Take care.
@@JPinFuerteventura Haha. Thank you. JP. I was 48 this year. I had children young, at 20. And I always moisturize. Maybe that helps. :D Have a great week.
Haven’t been there for years, we used to go when the kids were much younger. I always thought it was really well kept and as you said the gardens are beautiful. Thanks for posting. Simon.
Hello John and Sue....Glad you went to the Zoo,we've been meaning to go for 24 years!maybe next visit.Love the palm trees and cactus gardens.Missing you all on paradise lsland. Susie.🦎
Przepiekny park, godny polecenia dla dzieci i dorosłych. Mozna tam spędzić cały dzień, podziwiając sympatyczne zwierzaki(doslownie na wyciągnięcie ręki) ! Ogromny teren, dużo chodzenia (na plus na urlopie przecież)! W nagrodę pyszne jedzenie i kawa w restauracji na terenie Parku! Niezapomniana wyprawa!
Thanks for taking us JP - We went there a couple of years ago now and really enjoyed it , though its a long (but free) bus ride from Corralejo 😆was a fabulous day out 😎
Thanks JP for very interesting vlog, I really enjoyed it, very appropriate accompanying music! Must try to visit Oasis on our next trip out there, whenever that will be! Cheers! Susanx
After all this time you have become a tourist 😀Been a few times and the gardens just get better. It's a fair walk up the cactus Gardens to see the hawks. Great day out, nice soundtrack 👌
Great production John. My wife fed the giraffes and that was a pretty magic experience. We also loved the grounds . You saw a lot we missed also and so it will be worth a second visit I am sure and the entry price doesn't seem to bad to me. Loved the video Top Marks. I am glad you thought it was a pretty good zoo. I have seen a few pretty crap ones as I expect you have.
I enjoyed it when I went there. As you say I'm not a big fan of zoos either but I think they are well looked after. The cactus garden was amazing! But Ants.. everywhere! That's nature for you. Seeing the cats roaming the park was a real bonus for me as in domesticated.
We went there on our last visit to Fuerteventura in 2019 and we loved all of it. We have avoided it previously as we don't really like zoos but it's clear all the animals are well cared for and their habitat is kept as close as possible to their natural one. We will definitely be going back as soon as we can holiday in Fuerte again. A good tip from a local is to start at the top of the park in the Savannah area as this gets really hot in the afternoon and there is no shade like there is in the rest of the park.
I have been hear many times agreat day out and the animals are well looked after.Great music at the end of the video what is the name of the artist? Keep up the good work JP
I love the oasis Park and as a whole family we always go each year. The last time we were on holiday before covid was August 2019 and we were able to see the crocodile eggs hatch. We were the only ones sticking around as we had a feeling one had a crack in it and sure enough after 30 mins of watching we saw 3 being born . Feel like their godmother as I alerted the staff to assist as they can get eaten. So seeing the crocs in this video is quite special to us and I wondering if they are the ones i saw being born. Thanks again Kirsty 😀
That was good timing with the crocodile eggs. With my luck I could watch for hours and then they would hatch a minute after I gave up. Thanks for watching.
I went there in May 2009 & only remember the gift shop from your footage. I did find (even then) the Zoo to be expensive so I only did a few things like the 🐫 ride & held a baby crocodile, parrot etc. The grounds are very nice but I didn't find the treatment of the Camels good. Hopefully it can only get better though. Thanks for the upload.
Thanks for the video JP we love the zoo. The grounds are amazing and the animals have nice large enclosures and appear well cared for. Would like to see a video of the sea lion show if possible.
I loaded the raw footage of the sealion show as a test but it got loads of copyright claims because of the music used during it. That means if I spend hours editing the video and upload it, any money from ads goes to the copyright owners and nothing to me. That's not going to happen!
Like you JP i am not a fan of zoo's but i get them for conservation reasons, The grounds around them are well kept and the animals are well looked after and you can tell the people who work there really do care about them, I thought the entry price wasn't bad either, All the best.
Yes. I was using my action cam on a gimbal and the Handycam when walking around which was a pain. I had 4 hours of footage which took hours to edit down to this length - but typically this video is doing much worse than those I just throw up in half an hour!
@@JPinFuerteventura Ah yes - it's funny, isn't it? I think because the title doesn't reflect the viewing history of the channel's regular viewers quite as much as your usual content, YT doesn't present them with it on the home page or recommended videos, or sometimes, I've come to realize - even in their sub feed. You might find it's a grower, this one, and pays back over time. I would run and hide if I had 4 hours of footage for one vlog! 😂
SInce lockdown forced me to do a lot more filming at home of mundane things, my audience has gradually shifted to people who like cleaning and shopping videos. I need to actively reverse this trend as I find it awfully vacuous and definitely don't want to do that long-term as the main focus.
@@PlanetImo People that like cleaning and shopping videos - it is amazing that people like that exist. Mind you, I can't really judge when I think of the things I have been watching lately.
@@JPinFuerteventura Yeah - it astonishes me. I do like to see it as part of a vloggers day overall but I would never search for it specifically as a topic in its own right. Weird!
Great video again, JP. €35 to get in - that'd get me about 10 jarras in the Canaries (that's how long it is since we've been there). Why do they let the cats roam free but put all the other animals in pens or cages?
The music when I was walking around the botanical garden area towards the end is "Eternal Garden" by Dan Henig (in the RU-vid library) and the music over the outro right at the end is "Country Cue 1" by Audionautix (again in the YT library). I hope that helps Daniel.
