The Masterplan album is a great example of Oasis B-Sides that so many people sadly overlooked when they bought the singles, the weakest track on there -in my own opinion- is I Am The Walrus and that's a Beatles cover! I honestly think that Oasis would have liked to have released Non-Album Singles in much the same way as The Beatles did in the 1960s? Oasis singles would appear on the albums - Whatever being an exception- and that was great for people who didn't buy singles back in the 1990s, so for those of us that did, the B-Sides weren't just fillers, demos or remixes, the songs were actually as good and often better than the A-Side? Other record labels would probably have held back some of the Oasis B-Sides for release when the band were on a break or taking time out for other projects, but Alan McGee/Creation didn't, as a music fan he had empathy for record buyers and fans, where other labels would have easily exploited the record buying public!

same here. i came across old photos in my parents house recently, of me and my mates holding guitars in my bedroom with oasis posters allover the walls, some of them wearing sunglasses and tins of beer ahhhh the good times, always thought back then we would all be stars lol

My top ten Oasis songs always has this one in the top half.

Shit I was in my early 20s then - Oh God how I always wished I could go back and really get into oasis more. Met my missus now and so I wish I met her then. Lots of buying of CDs now. Fantastic. Be Excellent To Each Other….❤

Still have to question the wisdom of this not only being the B-side, but effectively the C-side (not featured on the 7" or cassette single), when the A-side was 'Roll With It' (probably the weakest single they released in the 1990s)!

I mean you do gotta realise. Not every song can be put on an album. A B Side also doesn’t mean it’s a terrible or bad song generally. There can be various reasons songs never be put on an album. Things like it doesn’t fit with the theme of the album. Quite similar to another song on the album it is written for. And other songs generally being better lyrically and stuff.

@@neilriddell2171 I think what let roll with it down was blur released a single on the same day as roll with it. As lyrically its a well put together song. Especially the instruments as well.
