Personally I think this is noels best ever song he's written both for structure melody etc and lyrically.. Just a fabulous track.

Despite massive success, I still feel Oasis are hugely under appreciated.

Liam's walk is hilarious in this cartoon. What makes it so funny is that it reminds you how real it is, how someone can actually walk this way on purpose, just for attitude.

This song means so much for me. I discovered it during summer after being rejected by people I thought were my friends and also after being fired. It is truly one of the greatest song Noel has written. This song has helped me so much

Most other bands would build their whole career around a song like this. For Noel, it was just one of the songs, a B-Side. It just shows how incredibly prolific he was in 1993-1996.

A dear friend of mine passed away earlier this week and after two days now, this was the only song I could think of. Stay safe. Brighter days will come, hopefully.

This song, written in a Japanese hotel room, is considered by Noel Gallagher and fans alike to be one of his best works. The lyrics were inspired by the hotel's long corridor and what Gallagher described as a "Good, relaxing smoke." When asked about what the song meant to him, Noel responded: "To me this sums up your journey through life. All we know is that we don't know." At the end of this song you can hear in a high-pitch voice a vocal from The Beatles song "Octopus's Garden." The voice is Noel Gallagher. This was originally a B-Side. It was the fourth track on the CD version of the "Wonderwall" single released in October 1995, three years before the The Masterplan album was released with the rest of Oasis best B-Sides. Though many have speculated that the song's references to "Brother" ("Please, brother, let it be") were directed at Liam Gallagher, Noel denies this, saying: "We're all brothers and sisters." Performing on this track are: Steve Sidwell, Derek Watkins and John Barclay on trumpets, Phil Todd and Dave Bishop on tenor sax, Gavyn Wright, Wilf Gibson, Perry Montague Mason and Vaughan Armon on violins, George Robertson and Bill Hawkes on viola, and Tony Pleeth and Paul Klegg on cello. The brass and strings were arranged by Nick Ingham and Noel Gallagher.

This song holds it's own with any of the best Beatle songs. Noel is a musical genius, so many classic songs under his belt. His songs will out last us all. What a legacy, and still largely underrated in my opinion.

Some have called me crazy, but in my humble opinion, this is possibly the best song ever written. At the very , very least, one of them.

The problem with this song is that it’s not long enough and has to be listened twice for satisfaction

I've just hear this for the first time today. Wow. This band is so goddamn good. Not many artists can make me cry but l am losing my shit at work right now thinking about how short this all was. How hard l loved. How much l lost. But it all must go on. Love and respect to you guys from Arizona.

As I can't find many other comments on this.. A moment to admire that the art style of the video is based on the works of L S Lowery, another son of Manchester. A beautiful animated tribute to an iconic artist.

For most bands this would be the greatest song they have ever done. For Oasis, it was just another great track on another great album.

One of the underrated song of Oasis.

The Master Plan is a Musical Masterpiece, this song is just phenomenal and the lyrics are musical genius. The video is spectacular. Oasis is one of the best bands in the 🌎. I'm really sad that they're not together no more.Such endless talent wasted by not making and producing such mind blowing music 💔.

I'm not lying when I say I get goosebumps from listening to this song, no matter how many times, after the brilliant climax 4:07 and 4:21. There are not any words that can describe this song

The buildup to the and then the start of the chorus gives me chills sometimes.. stunning

Few months ago i was miserable, i was sad all the time coz i always had doubts in mind it was a very low point. But then as i was binging oasis i came across thsi song. Throughout the next weeks, i listened to this over and over, it was almost like a person i could rely on when im feeling down. Now im feeling better and i come across this song. I know some of it on guitar so as i listened to it i began playing to it. Suddenly as i was playing the chorus i cried, i cried. I never cry to songs but i cried to this. This reminded me of a low point in my life and how i overcame it, and its thanks to this masterpiece. thanks, oasis.

Easily in their top 10, maybe top 5 songs. It's melancholy without being dour, triumphant without being arrogant. A perfect closer to their "classic" years.
