Join me to go through Noel Gallagher's greatest guitar moments on Oasis' third album, Be Here Now.
Dedicated to Chris Buck, in recognition of his new video on Noel Gallagher 😉
Many images and videos in my RU-vid content have been found online without any attribution or credit available. In many cases I have therefore not been able to add a credit in the videos themselves due to lack of information. If your image or video has been used and a credit is required, please email me with your details and evidence of authorship and a credit will be added into the video description.
Many thanks, JH.

Cheers for the dedication James! 😉 All joking aside, as I said in my message, I'm sincerely sorry that my video was so close to yours - I can honestly say it wasn't intentional but in retrospect, it seems probable that I've seen yours at some point in the last few years and subconsciously absorbed it so when it came to quickly putting that video together on the day it went live, I covered some of the same ground! I'm of course more than happy to remove my video if you wish! 🙂 I've been on the receiving end of _inspired_ videos and recordings and certainly wouldn't want to step on any toes! All the best, Chris

I was thinking it could be some kind of ‘bit’ where you were Standing On The Shoulder of giants, or being ‘inspired’ like Noel. Weve Had literally thousands of people commenting on Noel playing the cigarettes & alcohol riff last week saying “TRex rip off” - as if they are the first person to comment and realise this, in 2023.😂

Chris’s video was prompted by That Pedal Show. I saw your excellent video in 2020, saw Chris’s excellent video the other day (presumably thanks to the RU-vid algorithm), and didn’t think “oh this is an intentional rip-off of James’s video”. Anyone making a video on the DLBIA chord would cover the same ground. I propose an Oasis-guitar off between the two of you to settle this! That would make a great video and you can split the profits!

Just as Noel is the magpie of indie rock music, Chris Buck becomes the magpie of indie rock youtube videos…a poetic continuation - Noel would be proud. James understands how The Real People felt. If this goes to court, Chris uses Ed Shearan’s ‘chord sequence defence’ that there’s only so many musical analysis video combinations, so they’re bound to duplicate!

There's an error on I Hope I Think, I Know, James. The second "page" of the tabs should be written as the D string, not the G (or, at least, you're playing the D string). the "17-17-17 16-16-16 14-14-14 12-12-12" are on the D, if anyone is confused a bit. Thanks for posting these solos, regardless, mate (everyone makes mistakes).

In my opinion Noel has a great sense for melodies and chords. However, I always think he just experimented with cords without knowing what he was doing and just judging by the sound. Which, I think, is a completely appropriate way to do it. As for his soloing it is very much the same. He is definitely not the best guitar player but one of the best song writers. You have loads of really technical guitarists around these days, but not a lot that can write good songs any more. Just my opinion. I really love this channel! I love Oasis music. 😊

Awesome video with your outstanding talent as a guitarist. As much as Be Here Now is a loud album in itself, I think there were some of the last great moments when Noel was actually doing lead in the most effective and rhythmic ways when the band were progressing. Yeah I found out about that vid after making my own - he was right of course. But also, it was a different thing to my vid really, because I wanted to investigate what Noel actually historically played there, and until then, as far as I was aware, there wasn't any other video 'proving' which of the many chords was right, just loads of alternative versions - of which the Georgiarose vid was just one of many.
@kenny75photography2
