If you want tasty oatmeal, I would go for the oatmeal labeled "Rolled Oats" Its more healthier, and its best when you do overnight oats which is basically putting it in a jar and pour milk just enough to cover it but not above 2cm from how much rolled oats you have, and put it in the fridge, you can add fruits to it or nuts, any thing you like tbh, and it taste really good. I hated oatmeal before I tried rolled oats
I don't have diabetes or pre diabetes, but plain rolled oats/oatmeal with a banana spiked my blood sugar to almost 200. Just wanted to add that here. I eat steel cut now and add flax seed, in the hopes this will be better. Havent tested it yet.
I love oatmeal, but I never eat that crap you ate. You have to test old fashioned oatmeal. This is the one doctors recommend. I also eat my oatmeal savory. I use Tony Chateries or something along these type of seasonings. You can use old fashioned oats like any other grain such as rice in savory dishes. Love your videos.
