I love how you can tell the butler was genuinely suprised and happy when god told him to do something good for humanity for once. And his shock and disappointment when he has to kill half of them 2 seconds later 💀💀💀
@@ozaangelora7957 Satan is the most loyal to God than Human, before human exist. Satan just do his job, but we as human never thinking that he is do everything for balance. Yin and Yang.
@@shelbieclark165 Weirdly we can see people actively trying to diss the Creator, I wonder who is actively behind our making fun of God. Narrow minded is being able to see from a human's perspective while trying to understand God's will.
@@mansoorghumro8404 I can't speak for anyone else. I know god loves me or l wouldn't be in creation. I dont believe the creator is cruel like many want you to believe. Yet is blamed alot for other people's choices. The creator gave us the greatest gift of all, free will. What you choose to do with well..... We make mistakes but we learn from those mistake. Lol! Most of us do anyway.
Outer god dont take this the wrong way but it sounds like you need some friends or better ones. There are good people in the world. You probably just encountered to many bad ones.
my theory is the butler is actually God and it's some twisted take on how the bible says Jesus was sent not to be served by man but to serve man, and so Jeffery the butler that finds joy in the thriving and flourishing of life serves the old man playing God because of some undisclosed eternal law. At least there was some potential there for it to be that interesting, instead of just a mindless, nasty spit towards theists everywhere.
Really????????????? But seriously, it wasn't completely Lovecraftian with some of the scifi tropes, but both the unspeakable alien horror made of body parts, driving miners mad, and parts of the atmosphere at the beginning of the escape, felt pretty Lovecraftian.
*God comes back from vacation* *Sees 2020 life* God: “What’s going on over there Jeffrey” Jeffrey: “They are having fun sir” God: “Well then snuff the legends again just like in 2019” God: “ha haha do it again, do it again” Also God: Too funny, release the plague” (coronavirus)
Gangreen167 yes I concur. I been waiting for the new to replace the old if you know what I mean! (if you don't ur older than me. or be I'm too cryptic and vague with my words) I love these mini movies and how they will inspire the young generation that will replace us to create for the next after them 😊
Jenn eh While I really like what Oats has done so far, they are all about special effects. That little sketch was cool but nothing out of the ordinary. Rakka and Firebase had amazing designs idea and interesting setting. Sadly what doesn't follow is good acting/writing. It's decent at best and I really think Firebase would've benefited from being without any dialogues. That being said I'm really happy Blomkamp decided to make shorts films because he can really focus on the design, which is where he shines.
+jason8ification Criticizing does not effort to do the thing you are criticizing yourself. It certainly helps, in some cases, but even a amateur can sometimes see things that are obviously amiss. That doesn't mean they can do it better, but they can point out things that should have been done better by the people who can normally do them.
jason8ification I never understood the reasoning behind that logic. Because it seems like to you any opinion isn't valid as long as the person hasn't done what they criticize. By that logic I can't complain about badly seasoned food at a restaurant because I'm not a chef, I can't complain about a poorly written novel because I'm not an author, I can't complain about a unplayable video game because I'm not a developer etc...
Ridley may have more powers than Neil and support from the studios. But for now, he's humiliating the old man with his shorts. The public will speak with their wallet.
I'm not sure what you're the most angry about. My statement about the short or the fact you assume I'm a Blomkamp fan ? I like both directors. You're not successful by only making good movies, but by being a liability for studios. There's a reason why they trusted Ridley more, since he made them millions in revenues. But there's no reason to tolerate a poor movie he made with Alien Convenant, which can be summarized by "Android : 2 Davids playing a flute".
This episode has had me tripping ever since I saw it. The other one is on Love Death & robots, where civilizations pass in hours in a couples freezer lol
This is so brilliant and the touches of humor and dread, in under 4 minutes they've perfectly summarized the God complex. He giveth and he taketh, the people behind this OATS need to have a sit down with Netflix, creative genius and uniqueness with pure compelling brilliance it's like a magnet the way you can't help but give your attention to everything I've seen from them so far. Gotta love the little nods like the creation of man sketch hanging above the fireplace.
How does one share with everybody the incredible news that God sent a messenger in the 1980's. We now know what the purpose of life is and how to have no problems here and now and how to get to heaven. Will anyone believe? His name was Dr. Rashad Khalifa. He wrote books, news letters, made videos, and audio tapes. He is the real deal. The first messenger since Jesus, and Muhammad. We are suppose to be worshipping God alone. Peace.
Super proud of you guys! This is genuinely a new age type of filming! Literally out of this world stuff! Would love to see a "Zeff 2 Death" appearance in one of these experimentals!!!!!! Great work! Fukstakes!
It's a good story, once again oats delivers an interesting story in a condensed amount of time. there is a lot going on, but I think its left up to the audience to make their own decisions. Awesome work oats.
