Being a science teacher teaching children every day, it has been hard emotionally to heal through the process when I felt I tried everything I could. Your video series really helped to support and validate women all across the board.
Wishing you guys luck! We went through two rounds of IVF and only ended up with one embryo that we were able to transfer. We did not end up pregnant. It was really tough on me emotionally. We ended up deciding to adopt, which brought us our now almost 3 year old son. I wouldn't change a thing, but both IVF and the adoption process can definitely be a lot to handle emotionally. Having a supportive partner is key to getting through it all!
Im sorry it didnt work for you, Cny fertility have the cheapest prices in the Us.. just so you know. They are good, I just delovered my baby girl with them, she is 3mo old now ❤️
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I know it can't be easy. I went through 5 rounds myself and ended up getting pregnant naturally after our clinic said they couldn't do any more to help. Now we have an almost 6mth old girl. Keep going guys!!! 💪 🤞

I am so happy when others share their experience. It took us two full rounds of IVF to get my 4-month-old baby. It definitely is an emotional and difficult thing to go through, but so worth it when it works!
Thanks so much for posting your story. It really helps to normalize infertility. I went through t rounds of stim last year. 3 were cancelled for poor response and we had a failed fresh cycle. The last cycle we did where I had pretty much given up hope yielded 2 euploid embryos from 3 eggs retrieved. I was 40 at the time. One of those embryos became my 2 month old daughter who we are so in love with. Worth every shot, every appointment, every shed tear and every penny spent.
Last year we went through our first IVF ICSI. We were lucky enough to get 13 oocytes and 7 embryos of those. And now the 2nd beautiful embryo is 21 weeks old fetus / almost baby cooking after the 1st embryo didn't stick. As a person with needle phobia I was so appreciative of my husband to take over the injection part so I could just look away and imagine that I am somewhere far far away :) I appreciate your stories about IVF and parenting - human and specialist opinion in one place :) All the best thoughts and karma points for you both during this time!
So, I watched this when you posted it initially, and here we are so many months later and I’m about to start my IVF journey. I’m so thankful for you posting you personal journey and with the professional knowledge.
I wish you all the best. I had OHSS despite only having 6 eggs retrieved and low-average AMH. It was in only one ovary but I ended up with liver inflammation and really high coagulation factors (they said 7x higher than normal). I was lucky I didn’t get a blood clot apparently. But it was worth it for my 8mth old. He was the only embryo to survive both freezing and thawing (out of 3 blastos) so we were very lucky!
Thank you for sharing this. I've finally got an REI consult coming up after eight months of wait list and it's so helpful to see the nuts and bolts of what to expect if they have us go IVF. IDK why, but it seems so much more intimidating than other therapies.

Good morning! I’m finally starting stim #1. We’ve been trying to start since January. This is our fifth attempt to start a successful stimulation cycle. I kept having assist. I haven’t had cyst like this in years since I was diagnosed with PCOS at 18 as soon as I got on birth control, my whole body went haywire, and I have a stubborn sense of God, his big 6 cm we went to drain it. It shrunk up a little bit and now it’s back at 3 1/2 and it won’t go away right over which is actually pretty cooperative and most the time now has two babies however my estrogen is finally back to normal so the doctor gave me the greenlight. I’m on Lupron .5 fall stem 375 in men appear 75 for the next eight days. I’m OK the sentence I’m noticing the most that are bothering me now or a small headache throughout the day and I’m extremely tired, especially after I take the meds like I literally been drugged and I have to go to bed like I can’t function after work. This is the worst of it right now, hope everything went well and I wish you all the best of luck on your journey
Hi Sarah, not sure where u live in the US but could u do a video on how IVF is / may be impacted by Roe v Wade being overturned? I.e. issues with the creation and storage of the embryos? Idk seems like could be an issue in some states perhaps, or is it somehow protected/seen differently medically?
Best of luck to you guys! Have you considered acupuncture/TCM? Something they said was, "Western medicine improves egg quantity, but TCM and acupuncture can improve egg quality." I wasn't able to do IVF because my insurance said I was too old (42 at the time). I did try IUIs, but after several rounds, the REI doctor said there wasn't much else they could do. I did acupuncture and took supplements such as high quality CoQ10, and I now have a healthy baby girl. I think you'd find it very interesting, and there is research that supports the efficacy of acupuncture and certain supplements. Good luck! I understand the frustration and disappointment every month you're not successful.
Could you please share your thoughts on Lupron Depot for endometriosis? There are lots of scary stories out there. I'm going through IVF and am interested in Lupron Depot as I'm in the embryo transfer phase. I would also like to hear what you guys think about the ERA test.

I wish I had this last month. Thank you guys. I’ve just finished a round of ivf. Ended up with six healthy embryos out of 16 eggs initially retrieved. I was so nervous, it seemed like such a daunting task but it was actually really nice having a schedule written out step by step. I triggered with Lupron because of pcos/risk of ohss. It was just literally a week ago but I feel great. Waiting on the transfer til next month. Do you know why Menopur burns so bad?
I’ve been through 4ivf cycles… with various injections and protocols. I got quite good at the injections 😜 I agree the trigger shot needle is viscous… but not as bad as Clexane (anticoagulant) in my opinion. Im curious to know how many oocytes did you have, how many fertilised. Did you do icsi?
We loved the UpSeat when starting out. We have since transitioned to the Inglesina Fast Table Chair, and have liked that give it’s small size and how it allows us to use the same chair out in public too.
