Former President Barack Obama made a surprise visit to the south side today. He was back in his hometown to check on the progress of his presidential center.
He was re-elected easily for 2 terms, and is still popular with the majority of the American electorate. I hope his foundation and himself do positive things for Americans similar to what Carter has done since leaving office.

Former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, stated that his death was justified, and that he "should have had a more responsible father". I do miss the Nobel Peace Prize winning Obama. He was so godlike in his decision making.
You don't have to love his policies. However, he is a good person. Look at Jimmy Carter, not even a fair US President, in the least. But, a genuine, earnest, and kind man.
He served two Terms as President which is what is allowed here in America but many have said if he could have run for a "3rd. Term" in 2016 he would have been Elected according to the Polls.

When president Obama was president there hasn’t been a president I’ve known that is anything like him, one of the greatest things about him is his ability to go out and meet people just pop in and surprise people and he’s just so genuine, easy laidback and down to earth. We were blessed to have this man as our president and when he came there was no drama, like with others, the only other I could remotely think close to President Obama is President Jimmy Carter.
