Not sure exactly when this was filmed (guessing early/mid Obama first term so 2010/11) BUT HIS RESPONSE PREFIGURES THE TRUMP PHENOMENON:- something which no one even saw coming when it actually happened 5/6 years later! EERIE! The more exposure I have to this man, the more AWED I am by his mind. Listening to him (especially the way he looks now at 94, with the beard) gives the truest insight of what it must have been like to for a believer to be in the presence of one of those Old Testament prophets. I will know a new depth of existential sadness when he passes...

This guy puts me to sleep. Something about his voice and smugness and matter of fact kind of approach..its easy to say this was obvious and that was clear so why did they do it.... It's easy to ridicule after the fact but it's not so clear while events are unfolding in real time and decisions have to be made quickly no matter how informed a president is.... His view just doesn't fit the real world..

Nothing he's criticized could be excused away with, "decisions have to be made quickly." Everything mentioned was planned over a fairly long time and done with motivations that were concealed from the public. Most of what he talks about has been extensively documented.
